LOL, I just want it released... yesterday and could care less who releases it, as long as it's released sooner rather than later. What cammo will this have? If any?

first of all i dont really want to use this for opgwc, its just that im doing cvrw's myself i thought i may give a lending hand out...............(marfys mtlb pack- that was done by quaker not me

Personally I think Swift does good work, can't wait to see the Warrior up and running and bear in mind that the last 5% of a project can take 95% of the time. Right I'm off to remind my boss of that!

We all know quakers mod has been in trouble or the root of that trouble in the past but taking that out on swift, who i believe wasnt even part of that mod back then, is not fair at all. Just wait and see how it turns out ... then offer criticisme. Give the man a chance!

I'm about to take the first steps into OFP modeling and I can say it's not as easy as it seems (and I work with 3d-CAD programs for a living!). It will be weeks before I will be able to make such a model as that warrior. And making textures really is an art! That's why all people think Marfy is a god-like texturer.

Do people 'knock up' their own textures in PaintShop/PhotoShop? Or do they hunt around for existing photos/textures?...

It looks like a PShop job (which should be easy enough with practice?), with the dashboards being a picture in most cases?...

How goes the Ferret? The Warrior is looking much better as well! biggrin_o.gif . I'm more into wheeled vehicles, but the warrior looks like one I'll be looking forward to. How far on are they both, in a 0~100% way?...

I try to draw the textures myself with Freehand/Illustrator and Photoshop. I use photos only as referrence. Sometimes I also model certain parts with a lot of detail, render it with radiosity and HDR shader, and use the rendered image as texture.

What is/are these? Can you tell me what the latest free version of PaintshopPro is?(5?) I have 4 but it has'nt got the alpha channel options under 'selections'!...

Have you got a site where you post progress and other models that are being worked on?. I'm really looking forward to this Ferret, and would like to follow it's progress! (without bumping up threads!)...

Latest version of PSP is 7 and you can get a trial version from www.jasc.com

I use PSP 7 and Photoshop 7 for my textures because Photoshop is more powerful but I'm still far more familiar with PSP and still find it easier to do certain things with PSP.

As for using photos or making from scratch, I tend to use photos as a base for my textures and edit them to suite my needs, although for some parts where I can't find a picture good enough to use I've made textures from scratch.

Hey swift how are those t's and i's coming? If you hit any walls im sure there is an ass load of people waiting for this thing that could help. Personally I've been watching this thing since it started and would really like to see it finished.

OK, enough. When it's ready, a new thread can be created. 90% of the last 4 pages has been "Any updates?"

Rather pointless. It will be ready when it's ready, and then a thread can be made to announce it.
