gaultesian 0 Posted February 20, 2003 Hi There, I was wondering if anyone was creating the FN F2000 (see http://www.voentour.com/mhp/catalog/rifles/fn.shtml,http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/1200/1279.htm, and [http://www.civiliangunner.com/F2000.htm) . Seems we have a fine weapon from the Lost Brothers (the OICW), I was wondering if anyone would try to make the FN F2000. Thanks, Gaultesian
STS_SolidSnake 0 Posted February 20, 2003 Yes a very good weapon, would be cool to see it in-game with its xm303, too bad shooting a camera with it wont be possible in ofp

USMC Sniper 0 Posted February 20, 2003 It's not fully completed, I plan on making a grenade launcher version and a silenced version. If some could help with textures that would be greatly appreciated. gaultesian 0 Posted February 20, 2003 It looks really cool! Keep up the great work. Personally, if the US is going to have the HK OICW, then the rest of us need an alternative. Besides, I would like to create mission of soldiers of the near future (2005 to 2010), and this along with the OICW will fit in nicely. Keep us up to date on your progress USMC Sniper. Sincerely, Gaultesian

However it may take a while to do the textures, since i suck at that.
gaultesian 0 Posted February 21, 2003 Well, I certainly hope you can get someone to help you out in the texturing department Sniper - you have a winner there. A really cool rifle such as this deserves to be a part of OFP. Sincerely, Gaultesian

9mm 0 Posted February 22, 2003 Well, i guess 1400 is acceptable, however just in the first lod. Hope you can lower the polycount in further lods.
gaultesian 0 Posted February 22, 2003 Please keep us up - to - date with this addon Sniper - you are making great progress. Sincerely, Gaultesian
gaultesian 0 Posted February 25, 2003 Any progess on the F2000 USMC Sniper? Did you find a texture artist to help you out? Sincerely, Gaultesian
USMC Sniper 0 Posted February 25, 2003 I didn't have much time to work on it lately, so no progress has been made. I haven't found anyone to help with the textures yet either - it seems not many people are willing to help with textures.
SGTKOPP 0 Posted February 26, 2003 Talk about curves this is going to be a great add on if it ever gets finished
Milkman 1 Posted February 26, 2003 WOW thats one bad-ass looking gun!! It remindes me of the assault rifle from Halo.
SGTKOPP 0 Posted March 1, 2003 can it be made so that if you run out of grenade ammo you can disconnect the greande launcher like the commanche drop wings feature the parts are all detachable
USMC Sniper 0 Posted March 1, 2003 I made a P90 for OFP today, which I imported from CS, and I will release it with the F2000 in a FN Weapon pack. I think I'll include a FAL, FiveSeven, and an FNC as well. This is what the structure is gonna be for the pack: -F2000, normal, silenced, with GL, Silenced with GL -P90, normal and silenced -Five Seven, normal, silenced, normal with LAM or flashlight, and silenced with LAM or flashlight -FN Fal, normal, and normal with Aimpoint -FN FNC, normal, and normal with scope. Theres no ETA since the base P90 is done, and the F2000 model is done.
