blackdog~ 0 Posted February 12, 2003 http://www.mapfact.net \\edit: Translated Page The page is in german but the screenshots are clear. These guys are helluva dedicated OFP team who makes nice models and nice maps. Looking forward to some nice maps from them. Check out some of these building screenshots: Nogova Mining Depot Nogova Mining Depot Nogova Mining Depot
PFC_Mike 2 Posted February 13, 2003 looks good. I hope they set up an English site for those of us who have great diffculty understanding Babelfish.
CanadianTerror 0 Posted February 13, 2003 These shots havent been touched up at all? Those girders in the bottom shot look real. Also, that first pic has been around for a long time if I'm not mistaken.
blackdog~ 0 Posted February 13, 2003 What I like about these guys is that they seem to be using the existing textures in OFP, and the same modeling style. I can see some being taken from the repair depot, airport, and fuel station just to name a few.
acidcrash 0 Posted February 13, 2003 how on earth did this stay quite for so long? those buildings look great!
cam0flage 0 Posted February 13, 2003 I hope they will make some objects like radar stations etc. Would make great targets to attack or protect!
hellfish6 7 Posted February 13, 2003 I'm so happy that people are making more 'unglamorous' addons... I've been a strong advocate for civillian buildings and autos for a long time, but nobody seemed to be interested. I've even tried modelling them myself, but nothing of any quality or recognizability ever came out...
peanuckle_00 0 Posted February 13, 2003 mr camoflage, ofp.info in the miscellaneous section for addons has a static radar blockhouse. It will be in the iraq pack im releasing soon. It's just waiting on the iraqi army addon. I have to find the army.
hovmand 0 Posted February 13, 2003 Wow Is it just me or do the Germans seem to have a whole "sub-community" type thing going
raedor 8 Posted February 14, 2003 hi guys! i'm member of mapfact team. these screenshots are NO fakes! the textures were taken from the game. we're thinking about an english site at the moment ...
MP Studio 0 Posted February 14, 2003 I am member of mapfact.net too. The screens aren't faked.

I presume the czech ofp community is quite big.
raedor 8 Posted February 18, 2003 there are some new buildings by mapfact! here you can see them: mapfact
blackdog~ 0 Posted February 18, 2003 OMG! Those are a work of art! Keep up the good work. I still don't undestand something though. When will they all be released and how?
cam0flage 0 Posted February 18, 2003 Those barracks look great! Like I asked before (and thanks to mr. peaknuckle for a temporary solution), are you planning to do any realistic radar equipment? I would like to see a radar like this in OFP. If someone asks, it's a Finnish Defence Forces long range radar. By the way, is it possible to animate static objects in OFP? It would be cool to have that dish turning around all the time
crewcutkid 0 Posted February 19, 2003 Is anything currently ready for download? P.S. I have started a thread that talks about having new buildings in OFP. It's in Addons: Work in Progress: New Buildings -Crew
raedor 8 Posted February 20, 2003 we'll release them with our campaign. but when that will be? -- i don't know. this year, i think with some scripts you'll get turning around things like this dish.

hellfish6 7 Posted February 22, 2003 When I was at Hohenfels, Germany, I remember noticing Quonset huts on the German side of the base that looked a strange green. I think it looks good. And I LOVE how there are poncho liners hung up as 'privacy curtains' on the bunks. Very, very realisitic.
MP Studio 0 Posted March 10, 2003 JörgF has some new pics for you: As you can see, he is making some special versions of the barack. In this picture you can see the radio barack In this picture you can see how many details he is making. Some windows are closed, some are half-opened. We think it would be good that you can make suggestions about the baracks addon. So post your ideas in our English Corner: The English Corner
