Tysiek was making one, and there was a thread about it somewhere here.

OFP can handle an unlimited amount of polys... it just depends on the machine that runs it...

At BAS we aim to have the poly counts as follows:

For Vehicles:

LOD1: 4000

LOD2: 2500

LOD3: 1000

LOD4: 500

LOD6: 250

For Infantry:

LOD1: 1000

LOD2: 700

LOD3: 500

LOD4: 350

LOD6: 250

somebody was making a Osprey, but because of limitations in the engine, the maker wasn't able to make the engines rotate while the props were running. everytime he started it, the props would stop spinning while it was in flight.

Naturally, that speaks for itself. What else would anyone ever want to be or have?

After all: commandos make movies, Marines make history!

By the way, I saw a short movie of a working Harrier in OFP. This may also create the opportunity to create an Osprey for OFP.

Yes this Harrier has tested on free VTOL script that like my Osprey. This script have few bugs and it's working only with plane simulation.

The problem would be if Tysiek release it that the propellors will only stay vertical or horizintal it can fly like a V-22 but the propellors wont move engine limitation crazy.gif
