I don't really have a proble with it. It's all advancing our knowledge and will help solve problems but of course inevitably cause then too but i wouldn't think cloning people would necome common anyway. After the supposed landing on the moon you might expect them to do it again and maybe start putting more people up there. But no it's just swept under the carpet, once we do it we will realise there's not much point for it in normal life outside medical grounds where it can prove extremely useful.

But i suppose some people will have concerns but i'm paralyzed with not caring and am not religous so...

Just a small tired person's opinion.

Eminem is now on the radio btw, something to do with lose yourself. He keeps building the song up ... quite good.

And Alanis Morrisette is now bitching about her ex very loudly, she comes across as insane instead of good like people say.

I´m initially for cloning because it´s the same as being a twin and people were using the same arguments against IVF as the ones expressed in this thread.

But the consequences for the clones... (who are normal people, just because you have Hitler´s genes doesn´t mean you´re going to take over the world, the clone can just as well be a friendly, quiet accountant who looks like him)

Think about it, hatred against clones leads to prejudices and the notion that they´re "just clones".

Which, in turn, leads to slavery and lynchings. Clone soldiers?

They´re "just" clones, and they´re inferior, hence, expendable.

The Raelien movement did this to get publicity, plain and simple.

I remember watching a CBC news story about the raelien 'religion' followers standing outside of Montreal public schools trying to sway kids to thier 'religion'. I think they were handing out black crosses. Most of the kids never took them seriously, and it was pretty funny watching the report.
