Introduction
Combat Den is a simple randomized mission for single and 8 player coop.  A single mission file provides a number of re-playable scenarios, no two mission play throughs are the same.

 

How can I play?  
It's simple.  A randomized mission will be selected complete with a briefing.  Just play.

Required Mods

The only required mod is CBAMission files on non-vanilla terrains may require additional dependencies.

would like to try, but missions with dedicated server support in mind only available via steamworkshop are a no-go.

 

could you please provide alternate download mirrors like direct http/dropbox/googledrive/onedrive etc

Is it possible to edit the amount of AI that spawn? Is it also possible to have the menu / UI at the start disappear and have a task / mission generated ready-to-go as soon as you load in?

Adding an option to specify AI count or times spawn can be done. I'm curious though, are you finding the default too easy, or too difficult?

 

As for the UI question. I'm not sure i understand. You can skip the UI dialog by typing escape. Then you should have a mission. But it sounds like you're asking for something different. Could you elaborate more on this?

I found the missions too easy for a group our size

 

And what I meant about the UI is have it gone / not present on mission launch. I just want to be able to log in to my server and have a mission already generated without needing to click through mission settings.

I think an option to increase the difficulty would be straightforward.  I'll see what I can do.  Thanks for the feedback.

I don't know how I could make the UI optional.  I'll have to think about it.  I'm not sure if this would help, but you can always just play solo in MP-mode and the UI will not be present.

As of the latest update, the UI is now gone, replaced by CBA Settings.

The role selection UI is comprised of several scripts and config files.  Unfortunately, I don't have the time at the moment to refactor these files into a standalone package.  However, it should be possible to just copy these files into a mission.  Depending on your level of scripting, you could then tailor them to you're liking.  If you're still interested, I can post how to do this. Just let me know.

Hi @ottaviodp, I've just played a couple of rounds of your mission (on Chernarus with RHS) and I am happy to tell you that everything went smooth and without any issues. I had a few intense firefights but managed to complete both tasks. Simple, yet great mission!
