Asmodeuz 54 Posted November 5, 2017 Closed for business on the 22nd of October 2023Armaverse Nordic is hosting a 24/7 WW2 Warlords server with team vs team missions The missions are built on Arma 3's Warlords game mode and use HoverGuy's Simple Shops framework (GitHub, BIS forum thread) to provide players the freedom of choice regarding gear, vehicles etc. while still at the same time somewhat restricting the access to top-tier assets. Warlords game mode offers Sector Control / CTI hybrid style gameplay. This game mode unleashes the ultimate all-out combined arms warfare Note about the overall gameplay: the server is forcing Veteran difficulty, so 3rd person mode will not be available. Asmodeuz 54 Posted February 12, 2018 Spoiler Armaverse Nordic will be seizing its operations on the 16th of February 2018. This means that the game server @185.62.204.10 will be shutdown permanently. Armaverse Nordic Discord server will also be closed for good. Unfortunately the concurrent player numbers never really got anywhere to warrant a continuation for the server any longer than this. To end our journey we'd like to express a sincere Thank You to all the players that stopped by to check what there was on offer during these few months! Having spent some time off Armaverse Nordic's Iron Front server is making a comeback. During the downtime the core mission framework has been updated to latest version and slightly restructured for quicker creation of additional missions. Also a few gameplay hindering issues that were apparent in the past have been ironed out for the latest installment. No rank restrictions or forced roles Acquiring weaponry and vehicles is only restricted by the amount of credits You own credits are saved and carried over to the next mission or become available the next time you join the server Currently available 15 different missions all up to the players to choose from from small close-quarters fights to combined arms missions that encompass a whole map No fixed date or time when to play since the aim is to play "all-day-everyday" with easy-to-access approach Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In such missions there's one side attacking and another side defending the objectives laid out for the mission. Sounds almost like how stuff might have gone down back in the day! AI enhancement mod ASR AI 3 has been added to the list of recommended modifications we've switched from TFAR (TaskForceArrowheadRadio) to ACRE2 (Advanced Combat Radio Environment 2). Asmodeuz 54 Posted April 6, 2019 (edited) A short status update on what's been happening with Armaverse Nordic and its WW2 Warlords server there are nine (9) WW2 Warlords missions available thanks to the updates to the Warlords game mode in Arma 3 version 1.90 it's now possible to have Independent as a playable side this has allowed us to create missions for the US faction and with the latest update to Iron Front also for the UK faction! Asmodeuz 54 Posted October 31, 2020 As many of us might have learned by now development of ShackTac User Interface (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=498740884) has been discontinued. While an era ends for one great modification a new one begins with another. As the state of things is ShackTac User Interface will make way for DUI - Squad radar (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1638341685) and from this day on you will be able to use "DUI" when playing on Armaverse Nordic's WW2 Warlord server. So make sure your mods are up-to-date and hop on the server anytime you prefer! FYI the list of the required and allowed modifications have been updated to the original post. Asmodeuz 54 Posted July 25, 2023 With the release of Arma 3 CDLC Spearhead 1944 Armaverse Nordic shifts focus and support to the latest installment that brings World War 2 as an official addon to Arma 3. New multiplayer missions created for the CDLC's Normandy map and the assets it boasts are now available. Also with the release of the Spearhead 1944 the long serving Iron Front in A3 ("IFA3 AIO - Second wave") modification along with the dependency mod @CUP Terrains - Core will be put to the side for the time being.
