Custom animation on heli rotors

If i group selection vrtule staticka, vrtule velka, vrtule textura, vrtule blur with some name of rotating (from rotating animation) object, the rotors will be stoped when i play the animation. If Bis know what about i'm talking ? It's very important bug because i making a V-22 Osprey and there is a rotating engines with (in think smile.gif ) working good rotors.

Please, fix it in the 1.90 PL OFP version and relase for all languages.

Hmmm thx for understand, BIS. You don't reading posts about bug reporting from all players. Now i know why this game is dying...

It angers me when people say stuff about BIS not doing their job correctly. We are nearly on version 1.90, BIS have supported the community for over a year.

I am sure they have much better things to do that sit around listening to a bunch of people moan at them (VBS1 for instance, OFP2 hopefully tounge.gif)

If they replied to every grunt and groan from every player who thinks his issue is most important, then they'd never get anything significant accomplished. I recommend:

1) Learn better English if that's what language you are posting in or get someone to translate for you.

2) Search all the forums for like matter.

3) Provide better documentation about your issue.

4) Avoid presumptuous phrases such as "If Bis know what about i'm talking?"

And finally, don't bitch about the game or the utter geniuses that keep it going. The game is not dying, it is very much alive and well.

If you don't get a response to your so-called bug, then either one of the above conditions wasn't met, or maybe it just wasn't as all-important as you thought...

EDIT:

There isn't a piece of software in THE WORLD over 100,000 lines that is without flaws, and games are no exception.

Take it easy, Baron... 1st of all, it's not so easy for everyone to learn English, not everyone has the same possibilities, and I assume you live in England - so what do you even know about learning English when it's not your native language?

I know, I know, I'm just feeling a bit trigger-happy today. I feel much better now. But I DO think the message lacked detail and clarity.

I would have to agree with Baron's last post, I read the initial thread and couldn't make out the gist it  confused.gif

Edit: Hmm but on reading it again it kinda makes sense, when he's using the textures from some other model the animation doesn't work right and the rotors don't spin, right?

I'm sorry, but i'm affraid i have no idea what are you talking about.

My english is bad too... maybe this is the reason smile.gif

We implemented rotating rotors in the Chinook. Did you check how it is done there?

I am aware custom animations cannot be combined with any other animations (and also two custom animations cannot be combined together). I suppose this is the problem you are talking about. I would not, however, call this a bug, rather a limitation.
