Â One thing that pisses me off is that you can't have a 2 players in a bomber as bombardier and pilot. Which is really the only two jobs that need a human! I really like this game. FW200 0 Posted October 2, 2004 In MP I usually fly on a server which has exterior viewing enabled, and some extra planes enabled ;) I fly: B-25H and IL-2 3M I painted it like the Su-47 Berkut prototype. Don't have a pic of the B-25H atm though. I picked these planes because I'm a lousy fighterpilot and I rely on tailgunners to kill enemy planes. The -25 is very nice when it's empty (no bombload) and I usually hug the deck and let fighters chase behind , then I fly a bit sideways so almost all my gunners can open up Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Yes you can, in MP co-op servers. I planes like the He-111 or TB-3 you can have up to 8 people (don't let the name co-op fool you, it usually consists of two opposing teams of players, and is great for re-creating realistic air battles. Supah 0 Posted October 2, 2004 I would like to encourage people to keep an eye on this title! Pacific fighters will bring allot of planes to the game and if you own IL2FB:AEP you will be able to install it over your pre-existing game. Giving you allot of planes and options extra for the eastern and western front (if you own BoE). I am currently fighting a very enjoyable campaign over normandy. I flew missions that ranged from on the deck, engine full open screamers strafing trains, supporting the para landings on D-day by shooting up searchlights to bombing the SS's finest in the falaise gap. I escorted huge B-17 streams in to Caen pounding german positions around it. Â All this in one campaign .... if you like flightsims get this one! This is as good as it gets! Â P.S. The next patch WONT be final, more western front planes will make it in including some of the luftwaffe's finest and some late war fighters. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Jinef 2 Posted October 3, 2004 I know human players can play together in a bomber - 1 human is pilot and bombardier (bombsight guy) The rest can play as gunners You can't have a human as a pilot and a seperate human as a bombardier, which is really the two hardest jobs. Edge 2 Posted October 3, 2004 Hello, I just tried to make a custom skin for Bf-109K-4 flown by some German youngster in Spring 1945 from an airfield near Cesky Brod (Czech Republic). Due to the way the skin is mapped on teh nose, I was not able to keep the red nose graphics in right size. Please feel free to DL from here (1.2 MB) , I will welcome any comments regarding realism and colour settings. The archive contains 3 versions: without any markings, with crosses only and with all markings. Note that I added swastikas because of the skins' realism, so if you would feel offended, please do not download the files (PM me, I could send you a swastika-free version). There is a Pe-2 (and MANY other 3rd party planes) in the pipeline but lately some uncertainty has arisen wether this content is going towards a patch (IE Free) or a addon (IE not free). Oh well, I do like the Pacific theatre (the gun cam in my sig shows me shooting up the engine and cockpit of a P-51D in a Zero), but the real good news for me is that this should push AEP to the bargain bin and I might finally get it .
