Vit's new tank

I was just looking at vit's website and I found that he was making a tank. Although it looks like the British Warrior

Vit has called it Vits Tank 1 on his site and it looks good!

it looks like a warrior but the tracks look like tracks from a sherman tank.

To be honest it doesn't really resemble a Warrior at all, apart from the turret which looks vaguely similar. On the OFP Zone site is says it's a Panzer but it doesn't look anything lime a Panzer either!

It looks a bit like a swedish CV90 IFV. Too bad I couldn't find any pictures, maybe denoir could help? I'm not sure about it anyway.

Edit: It says on www.ofp-zone.de that it is a tank but they don't know what tank it is Panzer = tank, auf deutsch.

I don't think it is the CV90. Take a look at the pic below the turret doesn't look the same.

The model and skin (apart from the tracks) is a warrior model from 3dcafe.com....I don't know where he got the tracks

Correct me if I'm wrong but does Vit have a bad habit of ripping off peoples work? I have a faint memory that this isn't the first time he has borrowed other people's work without permission.

yep some of his ww2 planes used components of the p51 addon i made, also he made an F-16 using the G8 F-16 without permission....so yes he does this a lot

Panzer is a german word and has nothing to do with the word Panther - although there was a Panther Panzer...

It is also used for the word armor - armor in the meaning of shield, chainmail etc, the protective parts as a whole.

To clarify a bit better

Panzer in it's descriptive form for armor came from the German

designation for their tanks, ie; panzerkampfwagen which translates literally to "armored fighting vehicle"

Well I tried to dload a few of the addons from VIT's site just to check em out and when I went to extract the ACE files, they all seemed to be corrupted.

I know my program works fine as I used it on another set from another site.

Its a shame his ACE files never work. I've been desperate for some Middle East addons. Whatever happened to LostBrothers? If they die, what will become of that beautiful Merkava? VIT, if you are reading this, re-upload all of your Israeli, Jordanian, Syrian, and Egyptian addons, the ACE files are ALL corrupt.
