Possible to get model.cfg?

Recommended Posts

Hey, I was just wandering if there was a way to get the model.cfg of a binarized model. As I know it is "baked" into the model during the binarization proccess, I am curious as to know if you can somehow extract the model.cfg. I want to play around with animations for aircrafts to learn more about it and help myself with creating my own aircraft addon.

Thanks,

AFAIK, there is no way to do that.

You should download A3 Samples on steam.

the BIS tools have the ability to mount the game files to a separate drive.

So, you will be able to see all the model.cfg's for the weapons, vehicles, etc.

I recommend you try this out, helps out in the future anyways if you're going to be pointing a directory

to the arma 3 installation directory.

model.cfg still baked into the model on workdrive. eliteness can access the model.cfg of all p3d´s except the stuff that came with tanoa as far i know. sounded strange, to make it clear, i am 100% certain eliteness access the model.cfg, i use it all the time, what i dont know if the tanoa stuff works or not, since i cant try it.
