RozekPoland 591 Posted June 24, 2016 Well, it's been a few days since the release (that showed up on Steam on Tuesday) and there hasn't been any changelog for the patch nor the official thread about it on BIforums. Maybe it's because of some BI party that is noted in the latest ARMA3 sitrep? The official news says: Quote Also, today a small update for the Cold War Assault was released. It adds aspect ratio selection to the launcher configuration options, which should help people enjoy this gem on modern displays. Also we've updated the .exe signatures to make sure there are no issues when launching the game. What we can get from the news is that there is Aspect Ratio function added. The new setting is available from ColdWarPreferences. You can select proper aspect ratio for your display. However, it doesn't work. Whatever aspect ratio you select, it doesn't matter, it is not going to work. The reason is that the values responsible for aspect ratio function are put in wrong place. Originally they are stored in UserInfo.cfg file that can be found in your profile folder (Users/YourProfile). ColdWarPreferences puts them in UserInfo.cfg but in a wrong folder (just in User folder). The outcome is that this new function doesn't work. Huge dissappointment because it is obvious that this patch was not tested before the release. What is more disappointing is that the added Aspect Ratio function is way worse than the community solution such as Faguss' OFP Aspect Ratio which is much more advanced and satisfying comparing to the one introduced in the latest patch.
ProfTournesol 956 Posted June 24, 2016 Yes indeed, a very poor way to celebrate this.

Michele 3 Posted July 4, 2016 Anyway, does anyone know where to download all the patches released to date for CWA? I remember one file including all.

RozekPoland 591 Posted July 6, 2016 It seems to be clearer know why the situation about this patch is so unusual. According to the latest ARMA3 SITREP Jan Kunt (nickname Johny), who was Bohemia's liaision to Steam, left the office. He also was the author of the news about the latest CWA patch on Steam linked in the first post.
