Winters 1 Posted November 4, 2002 I have an old map from winter kolgujev that i am dying to convert onto this latest work of art by Kegetys but i keep crashing to my desktop whenever i try to open the mission editor, I have deleted all the Winter Vehicles and Arctic Armour as per the read me and have also deleted island1.pbo (winter kolgujev) but i keep getting an error message that says "Cannot memory map kegnoecain.pbo" can anyone help me out? winter missions are my fave. Winters 1 Posted November 4, 2002 same thing happens, i already looked at the search feature but the memory map issues are from the game itself. As i said i don't have a problem with running the game, its only the mission editor and only when winter nogojev is installed that i get this problem. Hey, anyone got a list of all the official addons? this would be a big help to people who had the same problem as me and have to delete un-official addons. If you have the Russian Weapons Pack installed, you can also install "KEGepack_snow.pbo" to the addons directory to get arctic units with the weapons from the russian weapons pack. Winters 1 Posted November 4, 2002 its built into the island, you activate it by using the command that they give you in the readme: Theres also scripts for snowfall and northern lights included which can be used in missions as follows to generate nice winter effects: [density] exec "\KEGnoecain_snow\script\snow.sqs" Creates a snowfall. Density is an integer that defines the density of the snowfall (higher = more snow). If density is not specified a default of 5 is used. Note that the maximum working density value is relative to the FPS. [density,time] exec "\KEGnoecain_snow\script\nlights.sqs" Creates northern lights. Density is the maximum time between random northern light creations (lower = more lights). If density is not specified a default of 5 is used. Time is the time in minutes for how long the script runs, default 60 minutes if not specified. The northern lights are meant to be used at night time, with no clouds and minimal fog.
