RikugunTaisaDancho 18 Posted June 10, 2016 Also, regarding helmets i have an original korean war M1 Helmet that i could help for the devs to use as a reference, it's actually a 1946 Indonesian War of independence Dutch M1 Helmet, however it's using the Early korean war chinstrap, so it basically is a Korean war M1 Helmet.

We're not giving a date, just in case we miss it for some reason. When it does come, it will be all of a sudden, no build up. Just in case plans change and we let you down

Rabbit35 122 Posted June 13, 2016 is the MKII for the British? cause i thought we'd moved onto the tortoise by then? Yee probably had, but we had a MkII laying around from the old WC so we thought "fuck it, why not"
wildcatbridge 377 Posted June 13, 2016 well if the bren was used up till 2006, i can see no reason there wasn't some poor squaddie rockin a mk
welshstalker 60 Posted June 13, 2016 Mk2 Steel helmets were widely used into the Korean war as well, yes they were attempting to phase it out during that period but you would see mk2s and mk3s often in Korea due to the fact that the war was unexpected and it would've taken longer to phase out anyway, as far as I can tell, only commonwealth and support troops would use it though
wildcatbridge 377 Posted June 14, 2016 some guys are still rocking the old mk6 helmet these days as well.

wildcatbridge 377 Posted June 14, 2016 from personal experience i've found if you scrim a mk6 enough people mistake it for a 7, though benefits of the 6 over 7 is its lighter and can be fitted with a riot mask, so i don't mind hanging onto mine for a while longer. wildcatbridge 377 Posted June 14, 2016 by joining before mk7's became standard issue for the reserve. 6A's are still allowed to be used, 6's had to be traded in. I sent my 6 in got a 6A back, thought i was stitched up, then noticed the benefits so kept my mouth shut ;)

But, we're happy to show you both factions and their weapons. We're hoping to release soon, but we will not do so until all coding issues and bugs have been ironed out.
