cosmic10r 2331 Posted December 27, 2015 Hey cosmic10r, Regarding the Takistan port......would be more authentic to theme the dress code of all the protagonists to that specific region , especially the zeds. A few of the officially supported mods for Ravage include authentic Middle-Eastern attire. The WarfareThai mod and Takistan would work well together, a little tweaking of the gearlist could achieve a more authentic experience. I want my Takistani zeds dressed in thawbs, kufi caps and shemaghs...... :P I may be able to get there. Buttt from what I have found that may be a little more hard coded than I originally thought. We are currently tracking him ... That is not your concern for now. Your Mission is to find his Laptops left on Altis, so HQ can triangulate the location of the device and destroy whatever is creating the infection on Altis. You may be re tasked by Admiral Delacourt depending on how you complete the Mission. Main Mission -Download the data from the 3 Laptops hidden on Altis. -Destroy the Device and get out of there. -Finding all Laptops allows final objective to be given by Admiral Delacourt, after O Neil's device is destroyed, we will attempt an extract. -Finding Laptops gives Ravage Mission Points, and destroying the device also gives Mission Points Side Missions Zombified Skin Record The Doctor was losing his mind. Find the notes he made on Zombified skin. - Random locations around Altis -Finding Records gives Ravage Mission Points Secret Documents x3 Reveals storyline around the White Plague. -Random Locations around Altis -Finding Plague Documents gives Ravage Mission Points Intel Photos x6 Marks Bandit Camp Locations On map for Raiding -Bandit Camps have weapons and vital items. -Finding Bandit Camp Photos gives Ravage Mission Points Random Civilian Missions x ? I'm at a point where I have too many ideas and it's getting out of control. So I'm capping the ideas at what I have and then Im gonna get that into a playable form, hopefully by this weekend. What i am going for is almost Fallout esque... Lots of little things to do that develop the Lore. Haleks playground is a fantastic foundation so I want to add a number of things to the mission that give people that moment of... oh cool.. do I got explore the town I have been moving to for an hour or should I go rescue that civilian. Trying to fill the map with things that are interesting to do besides loot. I also wanted to give people more info on the book so I did some research on it so if someone hasnt read it... It will reference actually characters as well as if someone has read the book... hopefully it will add on to their preexisting knowledge. I wanted to take away pure survival and make that one of the main mechanics but make it feel like it is something going on while you play and not the main goal. So,,, having said al that we will see how close I come LOL... I'm not holding my breath. so as final additions I will have a bandit king that can be defeated for mission points and reveal the bandit kings backstory. -bandit king will only be available after all intel photos of the camps are found. -Killing the bandit King will give you Somehing special but undetermined. Graves -There was a lot of death on Altis and graves litter the countryside. -random civilian and soldier graves will be revealed to the player. -Player can go the the grave for the backstory on that character and their death and also receive loot (Vital items, civilian graves, Unique Military items in soldiers graves.) -Will give Ravage Mission Points Destroy -the destroy mission will be bandit caches. -Destroy the bandit caches to weaken the bandits foothold on Altis -Will give Ravage Mission Points Soldiers -who can join Player group if found. And thats where I have to call it. Anything not in red in the spoiler as TBD or maybe is done and functioning in game although will need final tests and playtests as well. -I may have a pre mission briefing and post mission briefing as well. That may come later. So with that being said I hope to have a playable version by this weekend so I can test and make a few videos. Hopefully it will bring the map alive with stories, points and quests. I also don't want it to be a single playthrough thing. Hopefully these things happen organically as the player searches for the Laptops... you may only find a few intel pieces in each playthrough. And Im not making it easy... At this point there will be no markers for Intel.... So it won't be move from point to point getting intel and points. If you are within a certain distance of intel or laptops you will see a hint from HQ, some of the intel pieces are hard to see so it makes it so you don't walk right past one and never know. Fixes to insert Heli. -random supplies added to insertion for mission start - Evil Organ -Hint changes Adding Kydoimos Medals for certain Ravage Point thresholds. On the list -Graffiti Markers as intel - Froggyluv I'm getting close to putting it up so people can give it a good solid runthrough A few gameplay notes. -No markers, only hints when you are nearby Laptops or Intel. This is so you can start your search. I am not putting markers on that stuff. -Graves have a funny little red marker by them... they are nearby... Im NOT putting markers on those. -Soldiers and civs will have markers so you can track them down. -This is NOT a hop in and out mission. It could take many hours of survival to complete even a few objectives. -The idea and hope is that you get the feel that you are stranded on Altis trying to complete a mission against all odds.
