Hello everyone,

 

I present to you my newest project which I've been working on for quite a while now. This mod is ment to create a new interesting possible scenario for Europe. When released the mod will contain several new models. The timeline will be set on 2027 and focuses on new European conflicts.


New models: 5 tanks, 1 AFV, 1 plane, 1 submarine, 2 snipers, 1 heavy machine gun, 1 assault rifle. (+2 ships, post about this soon)

Side: Opfor according to NATO

After several months of negotiation between the governments all countries finally agree on forming a new country together known as the “Germanic Republicâ€.
At first the Swiss government wasn't sure about the benefits but after 2 weeks they were convinced by the other countries.

A new leader has been chosen and becomes the official President. All former Presidents become Minister-President and support the President. All former countries become states, the minister president is responsible for an entire state. The president is in charge of the entire country and its policy. All provinces are kept the same. Germany is the only former country that will be divided in 4 smaller states. This means 3 new minister-presidents will be appointed as well.

The border between the Dutch and German state has been moved, from now on the border follows the water. It starts at the river “Ems†until the point where the river meets the
“Dortmund-Ems-Kanalâ€. Then it heads towards the river “Lippe†and from there to the “Rhineâ€.

The Germanic Republic annexed Belgium and Luxembourg, both countries were added to the Dutch state.

Tensions rise as the United Kingdom and France openly disagree over the Germanic policy/actions.
The Germanic Republic threats with a trade embargo against both countries.

Northern Italy signs a Non-aggression pact with the Germanic Republic.

The Germanic Republic annexed the French regions “Elzas†and “Lotharingenâ€.

France disapproves the annexations but is afraid of going to war with The Germanic Republic.
The Germanic Republic in response threats with a full scale war if actions against the republic are taken. Or when French troops move towards their border/remain on their soil.

The United Kingdom disapproves the recent annexations but in order to avoid a conflict they sign a Non-aggression pact.

Spain signs a Non-aggression pact with the Germanic Republic.

December 4, 2022
The Germanic Republic sends the 19^th wing (Swiss Eagles) to Saudi-Arabia to support the Kurdish fighters with air support.

The 60^th Jaeger Battalion is send to Northern Italy to fight and train their troops.

March 27, 2023
The president has been awarded with the title of emperor. From now on the “Germanic Republic†is known as the “Germanic Empireâ€.

March 28, 2023
The royal families within the Germanic Empire stay royal but lose their power and most of the money currently owned. Apart from that they have to sign an official document. In this document they agree with the recent actions and they officially recognize and support the new emperor.

March 30, 2023
The 58^th Imperial Guard Battalion has been created. These elite units mainly protect high ranked people within the empire. There also used for several other activities like anti terrorist missions for example.

The 58^th Imperial Guard Battalion visits all royal families to check their household. Each family gets a free Prussian flag and insignia for their support.

The 61^st and 62^nd Prussian Guard Battalion has been formed. These battalions contain only elite units, the battalions are similar to American Navy Seals.

August 18, 2023
The emperor orders a big amount of Tiger 3 tanks to fill up the gaps. Due to the economic crisis and the calm period around 2012 The Netherlands sold almost all of its tanks. Belgium and Luxembourg had no tanks at all. The new Tiger 3’s will restore the amount of tanks needed in the Dutch region.

The 61^st and 62^nd Prussian Guard Battalion receive new Tiger 3 tanks.
The Tiger 3 is also known as MBT-14 “Europanzer†and Imperial Tiger.

The 14^th Prussian Guard Tank Company has been formed.
 

September 5, 2023
The emperor orders 2 new tank designs. People immediately start working on 2 new tank projects. The first tank will be known as the “CV-30†and the second as the “Leopard 3†or Hybrid MBT. The 3^rd Panzer Company based in Bern, Switzerland will receive the first batch of new prototype tanks.
Also a new plane and nuclear submarine is needed.

November 4, 2023
The Germanic Empire annexed Denmark. Danish forces resist but are no match for the superior Germanic Armed Forces. The first day 42 Danish soldiers die against 5 Germanic soldiers.

November 6, 2023
287 Danish soldiers have died already and only 26 Germanic soldiers. The emperor demands their surrender immediately. The Danish forces refuse to surrender.

November 7, 2023
The Danish forces still refuse to surrender. More than 300 Danish soldiers have died already against less than 50 Germanic soldiers. The emperor immediately orders heavy bombardments on Danish military positions.

November 10, 2023
Over 1500 Danish soldiers have died in the last 4 days, Denmark surrenders.
 

December 1, 2023
The Germanic Empire agrees on a Non-aggression pact with Norway, Sweden and Finland.
 

January 20, 2024
The Germanic Empire agrees on a Non-aggression pact with the Baltic States.
 

January 28, 2024
The Germanic Empire agrees on a Non-aggression pact with Portugal.

The Germanic Empire officially supports Andorra’s independence.

The Germanic Empire recognizes Palestine and Kurdistan as a country.

The israeli government is considered as one of the Germanic Empires enemies. They behave hostile towards Germanic allies and threatened with war.
Therefore not only a trade embargo will be issued against Israel, the Germanic Empire will also protect Palestine, Kurdistan and Lebanon.

February 6, 2024
Because it takes very long to build a large amount of F-15’s and F-35’s, the Germanic Empire decides to buy a large amount of A-346 planes from Northern Italy. These planes are meant to fill up the gaps. The Germanic Empire and Northern Italy agreed on a trade deal. Northern Italy will deliver the planes and in return the Germanic Empire will deliver Leopard 2 and 3 tanks.

February 14, 2024
The official language in the Germanic Empire is now German. Except for the Dutch region, the official language in this region stays Dutch followed by French and German.

November 23, 2024
The Germanic Empire plans to expands its air force again. Russia wants to improve its relationship with the empire and offers the export version of the Su-34 (Su-32) for a reduced price. The new planes will be used mainly for bombing missions. The emperor agrees and sees a great opportunity in this deal, the Su-32 fits in perfectly. The Germanic Empire buys many Su-32 planes.

December 10, 2024
After a successful deal with Russia both parties agree to sign a Non-aggression pact. Russia is invited to the military parade on May 12, 2025.

January 10, 2025
France calls for a UN meeting about the Germanic Empire. France is afraid of the growing military power and the territory expansions. The following countries refuse to take part: Portugal, Spain, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Northern Italy, Andorra, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Belarus, Ireland, Greece, Saudi-Arabia and Egypt.

January 16, 2024
The Germanic Empire officially invites Portugal, Spain, Andorra, Northern Italy, Kurdistan, Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, China, Egypt and Saudi-Arabia to the military parade on May 12, 2025.

March 18, 2025
4 French spies are arrested in Leipzig by the Imperial Guards. Declaring in an official statement the Germanic Empire sees this as an act of French aggression. The spies are taken to a military base for interrogation. According to the authorities this is not the first time they found spies.

April 2, 2025
The Germanic Empire will take part in a major Saudi-Egypt military exercise for the first time in July, as the empire looks to strengthen links among its allies in the face of an increasingly assertive West.

May 8, 2025
The Germanic Empire secretly sends the 78^th Jaeger Battalion to Palestine. The troops will help the Palestine armed forces in the ongoing war against Israel. Within weeks many Israeli vehicles are captured or destroyed. Some captured vehicles are shipped to the Germanic Empire for research. Secretly both Hamas and Hezbollah receive support from the the Germanic Empire.

The world is shocked of the military strength the empire showed during its parade. Some countries see a strong ally, but France certainly doesn’t.

The Germanic Empire changes the official name to the Prussian Empire, the short name is Prussia. The Germanic Empire will remain as an unofficial name.

August 26, 2025
Prussia held a military exercise with Northern Italy near the French border in the Alp region.

August 28, 2025
The emperor orders an improved Leopard 3 tank design. The new tank will be known as the “Cheetahâ€. The new and improved tank will be superior in every way possible. Tankers will fear the Prussian Tanks.

April 14, 2026
Prussia practices airborne operations on a daily base. France invites the U.S. and U.K. to a conversation about the Prussian Military movements.

June 17, 2026
Prussia stops with practicing airborne operations on a daily base. From now on they practice weekly.

August 28, 2026
French spies report that the amount of Prussian soldiers and equipment near the French border increases.

September 8, 2026
French citizens fear an invasion from Prussia, the U.S. stations troops in France.

September 15, 2026
In an officially statement Prussia says it has no plans to invade France.

The first batch of prototype Cheetah tanks are presented to the public.

The new JAS-31 “Owl†planes are presented to the public.

The first new nuclear submarines are launched and presented to the public.

The Prussian Emperor announced in an official statement that The Prussian Empire now has an population of more than 132 million people. Which makes them the tenth largest country in the world if it comes to population. Almost 2% of the population serves in the military or a related sector. This means that there currently are close to 2,6 million active soldiers (Military personnel).
In another report there was a statement that only 40% of the given amount are actual soldiers.
Yet another report states that there currently are around 3,2 million available reserves.
If these numbers are true and we have reasons to believe they are. Then it would mean that the current amount of available military personnel comes close to 5,8 million people.

The Prussian government releases an official statement about reacquiring former Prussian territory and colonies.
This statement will be published in all newspapers.

 

March 1, 2027

The Prussian emperor makes an official announcement on tv. Poland received a document about returning Prussian territory.

2 weeks will be given to prepare official documents, 1 month later integration will begin.

By the end of the year all former Prussian territory must be returned to Prussia.

March 4, 2027
The Polish government is outraged and immediately seeks help through its allies.
Another UN meeting was proposed by Poland, but most countries refused to participate.
Mainly because their government is afraid of possible Prussian sanctions/actions being taken against them.
 

March 7, 2027

Large numbers of Prussian troops slowly move towards the Polish border in the direction of "Szczecin".
 

March 16, 2027

The 33^rd  Panzer Battalion, 34^th Artillery Battalion, 64^th Panzer Battalion, 70^th Reconnaissance Battalion, 6^th Der Grüne Battalion, 18^th Mobile Brigade and the 59^th Mechanized Infantry Division gather around the Prussian city of "Pasewalk".
 

March 28, 2027

The 5^th Stürm Corps moves towards "Bautzen" and peacefully takes over all border checkpoints.
 

March 30, 2027

The Polish government received an ultimatum, stating that all former German and Prussian territory must be returned before the 5^th of November.
Otherwise military actions will follow and Polish politicians and representatives will be arrested.

 

April 15, 2027

The following countries received the same document: Surinam, Guyana, Republic of Mauritius, Republic of Palau, Samoa and Indonesia.
Indonesia has to return only several islands/parts. All other countries will be annexed.

 

August 29, 2027

Prussia joins Yugoslavia in their war for territory and therefore officialy supports the Yugoslavian policy.

 

September 5, 2027

From now on the Jehova's Witness religion is a banned religion in Prussia.
This happend due to many complains and conflicts with mainly Catholic people supporting the emperor.

Funny, I had a quick go at camo designs this morning. I'll just post the message I sent dreamrebel for the sake of discussion. They're in a very early state and it's only about the camo schemes, not necessarily the uniform models.

 

 

I've had some time this morning and toyed around with some camo patterns. Basically, I took the exitisting German patterns:

• Flecktarn (Woodland)
• Tropentarn (Desert Derivative of Flecktarn)
• Schneetarn (http://www.outdoorfan.de/images/product_images/popup_images/849_0.jpg)

Then I applied some filters. At first, I thought about somehow digitalising the Flecktarn pattern, then I ended up cubifying it. I think the first versions are kind of a mixture between digital patterns and the very modern and distruptive A-Tacs camo. But see for yourself. I've taken the BLUFOR uniforms as testbed.

I feel it's getting washed out pretty fast when increasing the tile size. Hence I think the second from the right, with the smallest tiles, would be the best of these early designs. It's neat and disruptive, but you can still see these little cubes when being close. And from what I saw on the tank pictures, disruption and washed out effects fit the existing work.

I like this one, it's a simple two-coloured Flecktarn derivative. In this case, I'd prefer the first from the left, with the biggest tiles, as it's quite disruptive.

Even if it looks like a "bedsheet with shit stains on it" (not my words), the Bundeswehr Schneetarn is said to be highly effective in snowy environments. I haven't found a way to make it look pretty in Arma 3 yet. I don't know, I just don't like that camo, even if it is effective in the real world. Again, if anything, I'd pick bigger tiles (left side) over smaller.

 

All in all it's a good start to modify (read: upgrade) already existing patterns, or what do you think? And keep in mind that we're talking about early designs I made in a few hours.^^

But I can tell you that IndeedPete is working on some camo schemes. They look very good already, you can check them about above this post. When it comes to weapons and equipment, that's something for the future. But some soldiers will use the new "Sunda" rifle, others might use the good old G36.

When it comes to weapons and equipment, that's something for the future. But some soldiers will use the new "Sunda" rifle, others might use the good old G36. 

I wouldn't use the G36, the German Army IRL are pulling them out of service from earlier this year because after sustained use the polyester body would melt making the weapon inaccurate 

 

I think they'll probably be replacing it M416 or the SCAR, unless HK wants to fix the issue

I think that the Hk M416 will be the most probable choise as a substitute to the G-36, just becouse HK it's german...

Toadie's doing a G36 with a 6.5mm caseless chambering as well, so it fits the 2020s scenario. Hence my idea was to think about that if dreamrebel can't find his own, custom rifle. But I believe he acquired a custom model already. The fictional Sunda 7.62mm bullpup rifle.

What about the XM8? HK produces them for Malaysia, its something unique and most people like the gun, looks somewhat futuristic too

About tanks ;Try talking to the SAM guys.Swedish army mod has some fantastic stuff.Maybe,you could add their Combatboat-90 somehow....

Sub`s looking Great!  Will this have some missiles?  Some Harpoon will look like a useful option for it....lock-out hatch =missile hatch

Tip:  Use the Torpedo tubes (make them wide enough) to spawn a player in them,then shoot him out into the water (or simply add a door handle) to depressurize the tube ,then open the door.

has a Radar AA-CV90 tank in working order ,ask if they are willing to donate some of that....keep it up

Tip:  CV-90 AA-tank has a radar dome on it ,like a up-side down trashcan on the turret.It will be most helpful if it came with a radar scope that updates what it sees,once every time it turns 360*

Hey John, thanks for your feedback! I haven't had time to discuss it yet but tomorrow I'll have a look at the XM-8! So far we already have 4 tank models and 1 AFV which is based on the CV-30/Panther 3 chassis. Tomorrow I'll also contact the SAM team, that might be interesting and I think some of their models will fit his mod really well. 

 

The submarine currently has 4 missile hatches, each missile hatch contains 6 balistic missiles. Which comes to a total of 24 missiles. Among with the missiles the submarine has several torpedo tubes as well. Players can leave the submarine on top.

Can you add some way to exit by torpedo tube?  Or in reverse,actually,enter by them?  A sub-rescue themed mission.Can you add this?;

Nice idea. If you start using the word "german" instead of "germanic", this could really be something. Germanic means "germanisch", like back "belonging to the germanic people in the iron age". German means "Deutsch", as in the current country and culture since the 11th century.
