Interestingly, the mags are interchangable with the FN-FAL.

-edit-

I just checked out their site ( http://come.to/operationflashpoint ), and I don't think it is ready for download yet...<span id='postcolor'>

Mags are interchangable with the fals? I didnt know that. Probably just the inch guns though.

Hmm, not 100% on that...but I know the L1A1 (Australian version of the FAL) could take 30 round Bren mags...

Unfortunetely the Bren won't be released unitl the mod is finished..<span id='postcolor'>

Hmm, that's a shame...I think some mod teams are too ambitious: their mod is so big in scope it literally won't be finished for a year or more, and by then interest in OFP will be fairly minimal.

That's why I like to see mod teams release addons as teasers for their total mod...

I take it the UH-1D with the damage textures is going to be released cos it's in US colours, just like the A4's were smile.gif

The British army used to use very good reliable guns, The Bren being one!

Another gun we used for a very long time was the 1918 LeEnfield sniper rifle, the most acurate in the world in fact, and we only stoped using it in 1991.

You guessed right! We are planning to release the UH-1H but as US version... biggrin.gif

BTW the damage textures actually work when the unit is hit.. Obviously there won't be any bullet holes when you first get in... tounge.gif

As for the Bren feedback about it being too big.. Yup.. You're correct.. It's being fixed as we speak..

We're planning to release a few more units in the near future.. Including 2 Land Rovers

I wonder why BIS didn't include damage textures to the hulls of vehicles then since it can be done.

I guess it came down to time.

I was just playing around with the glass textures and thought, if that can be done why not fuselage damage. Unfortunately having bullet hole damage from a missile hit doesn't look teribbly realistic, but then damage is damage.

That Bren is ok, a little rough around the edges though. But the maker got the scale right.

The sights are wrong but its a good model on the whole.

That Bren is way too big, it's almost the same height as the soldiers carrying it. I've held one IRL and it isn't that big.

We are aware of the problem with the scaling.. It's being 'fixed' as we speak...
