corporal_lib[br] 396 Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) Great, a campaign using CAF_Agressors and A3MP.. dling right now! (I would suggest expanding it to use 75th Regiment units and RH or at least the MK18 modI, at least as optional, but it is already a great addition to SP fun as it is =D [Edit] Have just played the first 5 missions... WOW! So professional and well scripted! Hope you guys create more campaigns in the future (a nice revisit to Cherno hint hint ;) Gotta get back A3 to play the rest of this awesome campaign! [Edit2] The sudden end was quite unespected, thought there were 2 or 3 more missions to go... but can´t say it wasn´t intense, I really hope you guys deliver more of this professional content! Maybe some Brit campaign (using StalkerGB units and Kiory´s or Trixie´s UK rifles) who knows ;) cheers! Edited July 24, 2014 by Corporal_Lib[BR]

Gripfire 10 Posted July 24, 2014 Hey RGBeats, Congratulations to you and your team for busting out this campaign! I am d'loading now. I play both MP and SP, but a good SP campaign like yours is what I'm looking for. I also want to advise that I am a freelance voice actor who has an epic love for ARMA since the VERY beginning. I have downloaded a f*ck TONNE of mods over the series for FREE and want to give something back to the community. Please if you want to have some extra voice talent I am here to contribute. I would get a kick out of providing my own way to contribute.;)
jcae2798 132 Posted July 24, 2014 great stuff guys. Thanks for sharing and building this. I do have to ask as a mission maker though.....some of the voice over sounds like the standard ARMA AI. Was this all voice acted by real speakers or is there a software out there to build audio voices like these? Thanks
spookygnu 563 Posted July 24, 2014 Only played the first mission so far and already I'm hooked on this. I tend to not play much SP because you can't quickly order ya men about, then you mention ARTICULATE. WOW! what a mod, although slightly buggy, this helped me play this campaign better. Plus I'll be using that for more missions to come. I'll be mentioning it to our guys at 3CommandoBrigade.GU. I'm sure they'll have fun playing this through. Might I suggest the possibilty of having it as an SP/MP option as well. This would run great as a COOP game. Your ideas are great and I can't wait to get through the rest. Great Job. The thing is about using mods is if they are changed after release (unit classnames for example) the entire mission will break and working in a hospital only permits a certain amount of time on arma! :( As for the ending: I couldn't agree more that it feels it should have a few more BUT as this was going to be a MANW submission before I read the terms (NO MODS) I gave it a different spin. This being that you have now just been introduced the characters that will be appearing in my MANW submission. Thankyou for taking the time to play my content! ---------- Post added at 19:24 ---------- Previous post was at 19:23 ---------- Hey RGBeats,Congratulations to you and your team for busting out this campaign! I found all my actors on here: http://voiceactingalliance.com/ Its a great website and a VERY valuable asset if you are looking for actors. Be honest and tell them you are doing this for non profit and the good ones always take you up regardless. The thing is with some of these functions especially the talking ones is that they just aren't built for multiplayer. This is due to a term i believe is called "Locality". This basically means the function will only run on the machine that is running the program. In a multiplayer game your computer isn't the local machine, it is the server. So only the host would hear the sound!(Take this with a pinch of salt.. I have 0% experience prior to the campaign in programming!) I bet there is a fix out there that can make it work for multiplayer but as it stands I have only had luck with it in single player! ---------- Post added at 19:38 ---------- Previous post was at 19:37 ---------- Sounds great! Probably right there! I love the Phoenix mission. That was epic! I just felt the need for this to be coop at that point clearing the compounds quick and easy with ya buddies. Did the perfect assault at the last compound, split my team two left two right, me watching over the wall. lol! and then just let them do the biz. Should have recorded it tbh. lol! I'm from the North West (UK) myself and I have had a few good responses using Articulate tonight albeit a few repeats to get the AI to do something. I will look at the MS stuff to make sure it is properly setup though just so I know that it can fluidly hear me and respond better. I just need to get used to the different commands. ReVee 10 Posted July 26, 2014 Hey! Loved the campaign, but I noticed a couple things; - One of the quotes spells is as us, I think it's the ambushed convoy one. - If you wanted to make it coop, just release the missions without all the voice acting and whatnot. Also it would be cool if an actual HVT Escort mission was in there. Other than that I loved it!

The problem with taking out the voices is the missions lose context since they were designed around voice. Noticed this during external testing. I have a Co op mission in the works but ATM it's low priority with MANW around the corner. Thanks for playing
corporal_lib[br] 396 Posted July 26, 2014 You already have my vote for MANW (I bet it will be as high quality/polished/ voice acted as this great campaign... just hope it will be a lil longer ;)

Please spread the word! The more people who know about this = the better chance of people playing it on youtube giving me examples to pitch to voice actors. I want to get a bigger cast for this one to really bring a better sense of immersion for the player. The next one will be longer for sure! (First mission is already in the final stages) The story has already been written and is going to include Stealth and Recon elements and some nice combined arms from Spectre-1 and Viper! Currently experimenting with CAS elements ( I was the pilot for the choppers in this campaign and really want to utilize it again)
the_demongod 31 Posted August 12, 2014 Just out of curiosity, will the next missions still be in Zargabad, or will they move on to another part of Takistan?
RGBeats 10 Posted August 18, 2014 Just out of curiosity, will the next missions still be in Zargabad, or will they move on to another part of Takistan? The MANW stipulates no mods can be used.. so its back to Altis we go! 1st mission is ready for voicing.

mathias_eichinger 64 Posted December 19, 2016 Only stumbled over this promising campaign today, so I gave it a try. 1)Prologue has very well executed voiceovers and cinematic feel and makes me look forward to the rest 2) Operation Piggyback unfortunately is the first major letdown. After part of the US forces flee in a Hunter, the remaining ones always explode for no apparent reason after a short amount of time, with no enemy troops in the vicinity, this is a very nasty bug! Mordacai 38 Posted December 21, 2016 Sorry to ask, but where should the music files go? Into the Camp folder----> Music/Sound folder? Lastly, can I use CUPS instead of AIA?
mathias_eichinger 64 Posted December 24, 2016 Hmm, I am using CUP and it works, and I did not download separate music files, but already enjoying in-mission music that sounds custom. 3) Fort Ethos: Basically serving as a narrative intro, but the mood is great, the voiceovers as well, and I have to say that I like the custom NATO loading screen. 4) Chokepoint: Short and hectic mission, but without any bugs. Well made stuff here. Oh, and Merry Christmas! 5) Operation Phoenix: Short and fast-paced campaign clearance mission, well voiced and without bugs. This one wraps up this campaign but it leaves me hungry for more, because expect for one critical bug, the campaign is pretty perfect.
