Hello everyone,

I've decided to post up some progress of a few addons I have been working on lately. Unfortunately I stay busy with my work and home life so I only get a couple of hours a night to work on stuff but I am slowly making progress. The following are some models I have been working on that aren't related to each other. These are just some things that I wanted to play with in game, so rather than bug someone else to do them I took the time to make them myself. I am not entirely sure how to get things in game and I am absolutely terrible at making textures, so if anyone wants to give me a hand or advice that would be great. That is part of why I am posting here today. Otherwise, I will eventually manage to shamble these things into the game. Anyways enough rambling on, here are some pics...

I really wanted a brand new model of my favorite rifle for arma 3. So here is my take on the AK5c. I have plans to make the GL variant also.

[M16a1]

While browsing the forums I came across a vietnam mod that was in need of an M16a1 model. I figured I could use the practice so this is what I whipped up one night after contacting the mod owner. I will eventually release it with my own weapons pack as well.

This is an older weapon model I made that I never finished. So I recently touched it up and planned on releasing it with the rest of my weapons as a nice sidearm. Blender has weird lighting so the screws dont look right. I may end up bump mapping them later after I see what it looks like in game.

[C-2a Greyhound]

This is what has been taking the majority of my time. The model is close to completion other than animations, the cockpit, and a few smaller details. I made this after flying with some friends using the nimitz and john spartans f18. I was thinking how much fun it would be to use the COD aircraft and what a nice little addition to the carrier it would be.

I have a few other things, but they are at the bottom of the to-do list so I will reserve those for another time. Hopefully I will be able to release these in the near future and I hope you guys enjoy them. Thanks for taking the time to check out my random junk!

Thanks guys. I chose the greyhound because of the immersion I hope that it will add. Its not something you will fly all the time but it will add something different to the game play. I would love to eventually do a hawkeye with some sort of awacs script too. Anything to add to the flight in arma that I feel is really lacking

thesn4k3, Alduric was needing a fresh M16A1 model (RH didn´t authorized him to use his, unfortunatly) on his Vietnam mod, why not talk to him and help him FINALLY release this long waited (and sometimes refered as vaporware) vietnam mod! You can work on the C2 too, as it is an airplane, it will require a lot of development time, so you could stretch your modding muscle with the M16A1 and then hop into a larger endeavour ;)

Funny story. He is the one I was actually talking about in my description of the m16. We have been collaborating on releasing it with his mod once I can get some decent textures on it. Mine are horrible but I'm trying to find a work around.

So I have been plugging away at the models the last few nights. Not much to update on the weapons yet, I still suck at textures so I'm working on it! I have completed the C-2a model wise other than the instrument panel and the locks and pistons inside the wings. I will hopefully be animating it in the next couple of days and working on getting it in game to be tested.

And the prayers for textures has been answered. I'm going to take a whack at this should have something done very soon.
