Iron Front as mod in Arma 3

Yep we are aware of it and try to fix it for the next patch.

Unfortunately it was not the easy/assumed fixed, we hoped for at first.

ohhh then it's a good new, btw when you try to throw a smoke granade it just fall where you are. hope you can resolve all the problems and make this mod more fantastic than it is

This is the only ''active and being worked on'' WWII mod that i see, Invasion 1944 is dead i think, but keep up the good work!

I thought we had to hold Ctrl + G for some time to adjust the force.

Last update is a few months ago... i don't call that active.

Doesn't mean that it's dead. Modders have a RL you know.

That is because they are redoing every thing from scratch. It takes a lot of time.

Sure, but then the mod isn't active. Maybe later on. But not now.

Listen to what others are saying - the lack of updates here does not mean that the modding team aren't working on it right now.

Also, if you are frustrated with the pace of progress, rather than complain, how about helping?

Hello There

I too have to join in and agree that visibility does not equal lack of activity, but it does show that perhaps the I44 guys need to post a little more in that thread just so the casual observer can see that although no major milestones may have been reached that the development still continues, if indeed it does.

Anyhoo we are in danger of veering off topic.

What i DO hope for is compatability between IFL and I44.

Indeed, that would be awesome. Since I44 is focusing on the Mediterranean front, and Iron Front on the Eastern. That would make some nice variation between gameplay and such. I am not complaining but i am following the thread for like 6 months now or so, since A3 got released. And all i have to say is everyone who is working on both the I44 and Iron Front mod, thumbs up, heads up, you are doing a fantastic job!

hey, anyone can tell me if Iront front in arma 3, is compatible with AiA standalone?

Also when i try to host a server i have an error, when i launch the server i have this error "aia_animations_IF requires aia_animations", but the servers is still on and do not crash, therefore i can't start a mission in the server. Anyone know what to resolves this issue?

PS: i'm using toadie's server launcher.

Unfortunately not yet. The patch was meant to be out for a few weeks now..

Please try it and tell us what works and what doesn't.

It should be fairly easy to make it compatible to Zeus if it isn't already.

I can't use Zeus + IFA3, everytime I preview a mission from the editor I get the error No entry 'config.bin\CfgPatches.ca_anims'. However, not using Zeus it works okay.

1) Please upload an arma3.rpt for me to check from a game session with IronFront active and this happening.

2) Whats the easiest ways to test if Zeus works?

2) Not sure what you meant, but I went into the editor, placed a player and a Zeus module, then hit preview, zeus automatically assigns the player as the curator if none is defined. During the loading is when the errors pop up.

Also, I noticed that I can't play IFA3 without Zeus on some maps, for instance, I placed any unit in Utes, then preview, everything works fine, but when doing the same in Omaha beach, I get the following error:

No entry 'config.bin/CfgMovesMaleSdr/States/Stryker_Dead.connectFrom'. Going to the main menu and coming back to the editor seems to fix this problem until restarting the game, I can upload a small video showing both errors if you wish, I also checked the integrity OA/Iron front files with steam and both games had 1 file that needed replacement, but it didn't change anything.

Thanks. The log shows that you did not have AiA data loaded at all. :)

You can check the modline here:

C:\Users\JEAN\AppData\Local\SIX Networks\Play withSIX\Cache\par\arma3pc.txt

It seems you forgot to add AiA (SA) to your collection.
