Hummer pack(with m60,m2 andtow launcher) released

W00t! Gunner finally works with me! These are awesome Quakergamer, keep up the good work. I can't wait to make the baddies scream in terror with the MLRS too!

One big bug still there. TOW missiles are not guided like they are in real life. It acts like a 3 shot cannon instead. Will this be fixed?

Hye quaker its workin now! I love them. I have V 1.1 But they still seem to bounce to much. They have bounced so much that they have flipped over. Its probably the Res engine so I dont mind. Also you said the MLRS hit you from across the WHOLE island?!?!? If they did how does it go about doing it? Laser Guided or script? Lata

Nah bouncing bug is really fixed. Just put a hummer and set the speed to 4x and ul lsee it do not bounce, it did with v1.0 And i cant maek the tow laser guided.

Anmd yes the MLRS missiles are laser guided cuz ofp dont have the possibility to make a good MLRS with accurate rockets so i decided to make them alser guided. BUT it may change smile.gif

Oh please leave it Laser guided I would hate to see it go scripted. Also does it detect the laser from any distance on the radar? And is there a special laser designator for the MLRS so that AI could designate people as well as armour?

Well u simply have a radar on the top and u can see ur cursor on the radar and you see the enemy in red. So U jsut try locking the missile on teh target, higher the MLRS thingie that launch rockets and FIRE smile.gif.

Pretty nice(ai is very good) BUT it works better on desert

Yeah I didn't notice the bouncing bug anymore on the weapons at least. The vehicles themselves seem to roll around just fine and don't bounce too much in my opinion.

However it would be nice if you could figure out how to fix the TOW missle to make it guided or get someone to help you fix. There's not way to use the guided missile off the BMP-1 for example and use it on the hummer's TOW missile launcher?

That would be very nice...even better if you used the scope view from the BMP-1 as well.

As for the MLRS, I can understand why you'd make it a laser guided system. But can you at least do volley fire? Like can you fire a whole bunch of missles rapidly? That would be very cool if you could do that. A supporting vehicle with reloads would be nice as well. That way the reload vehicle could travel with the MLRS with extra rockets when ammo runs out on the MLRS.

quakergamer, are you planning on porting the M4A1 with noise suppressor into ofp:r? if you could, i would really appriciate it. it was a good weapon.

I think the model could look better. It is...hmmm...shrinked may be. I'm bot so good at Eglish to say the exact thing I'm thinking about the model. Try to compare BIS model and this one (not textures) and you will see. And why you haven't added a gunner seat ? And TOW laucher was never fired and mounted like this.

Hmm couldn't you just make the TOW Hummer classed as APC/tank. This way you should get the TOW working properly. Of course the wheels won't turn anymore if you do this, but I think that a proper TOW launcher is much more requested wink.gif.

Some things to correct:

The gunner position looks kinda wierd, hands go through M2 and M60. Animation for TOW gunner should be the same when you turn out from tank.

Lights aren't shown behind the car, they only work in front.

Interior, shouldn't be a big deal, just use BIS' textures.

Nice work anyway, I hope there's a version with BIS' textures also coming to fit well with BIS' other units.

Yea I am working on this.

Some more things.

-The bullets(TOW) cant be simulated to follow a target,ive tried everything.

-I wil lfix th TOW animation

-The gunner bug is fixed in 1.1 so u should have 1.1.

-The MLRS cant fire rockets so rapidley, it will be put like in real life(i already have a realistic interior done biggrin.gif).

-And yes in the next pack I will put the BIS interior with a new forest pack smile.gif. (And new hummers aswell.)

BTW, any news on the new Humvee's Quaker? I really want to see some armed woodland camo Hummers in OFP with M60, M2, MK19 and TOW variants. smile.gif

WEll I knwo that the site is down but just wait a bit ill post some new links. Also about my hmmers well it would be very very easyto make them use a forest camo(BIS one) and it will be out next week(new pack).

As ivesaid the pack will be out next week at the SAME TIME when i release the demo of my mod
