This is really awesome man. Finally some Chinese units. Yeah.

Keep up the good work. It's really a pity that in the whole ArmA collection there's not 1 single mod that covers the Korean war.

Yeah, I would like to use Chinese voice for them. Now the addon is tested under VME&UNS mods together. But very strangely, they only are in Vietnamese voices instead of chinese.

In late 1960s', The chinese PLA had a bloody boarder conflict against their former communist brother, then called ' Soviet Revisonist'.

While in fact the M69 uniform had not replaced M55 until late 1969. The soviet border troops and motor rifle troops still wore M55 in the Damansky conflict.

Hi, SUY, actually, I'm planning to use these addons for the both of Soviet and PLA from the late of 1969 to 1981. The new M69 uniform should begin to use from late of 1969.

well i have to say..."bianfangjun" is "border troops" ,not "frontier troops"... and the soviet border troops belongs to the KGB not SA, so their uniforms are not the same with the motor rifle troops.

the campaign scenario will end with 21-23 missions when the conflict turns into a nuclear war.

That's right Sovite frontier units were under KGB. Their uniform should be basically in the same style as those of regular infantries except the different color of headgears and green badges on their collars.

I don't make winter troops for ZhenBaoDao conflicts. But I once found some photos of Soviet officers who were killed in that battle. They were just in formal M69 suits.

This is really an awesome mod! I've never see one as real as this one, most of which just have an asia face far from a Chinese face. And what a rustic grenade satchel! LOL.

BTW do you have an account in VME and speaks Chinese? We (You, Pavel Volonsky and I) can have further discussions there in Manderine, I think.

Currently I am working on a Korean War Mod which is based on the Battle of Triangle Hill. And its name is "Triangle Hill in Korea"(THK).

This is the terrain I've just made - An ALPHA one though with no roads and rivers and buildings and plants yet.

(However it doesn't matter much, for the villages were all destroyed and roads were no better than trails ,according to AMS L751. LOL)

The THK project is at a standstill now because I am not skilled in modelling yet. Could you help find PVA and UN units? Great thanks.

I personally like UNSUNG. There are many reasons why. For example, the hard work the team are not putting into the launch of a newer version, V.2.6..........

These guys are very very dedicated.

Also, I am a member of VME and speak just a little of both Guandongwa and Putongwa, but just a little..........You can find my missions on their site.

My first mission I ever made, "Senkoku Diaoyu Conflict" was shown on Weibo by VME and also, nettrucker made the Intro and Outro for the mission.

Indies I think. It was not before the Ping-pong diplomacy did the PRC regained deplomacy relationship with the US, while she had splited with USSR for more than 10 years.

However, the heads of CCCP was open enough to seek cooperation with its former-enemies. So you can take it as a BLUFOR-friendly Ind-force.

It will be on IND side. China was in unfriendly status with those two imperial powers during that period. So the conflicts could be against both of those in the game scenarias.

PLA Weapon Type56 semi-auto rifle, derived from Soviet SKS,which was the main rifle used by PLA from 1960s to 1979.

Type63 Auto Rifle: Developed by China itself from late 1950s to 1963. Then it was equipped from 1968 by PLA. It once replaced Type56 rifle in PLA and then was stopped to use from 1978 for some quality issues of production.

But some of them were used again by PLA in the border conflict against Vietnam in 1979.
