Just recreate a whole new hand animation for the weapon. Something probably wasn't done correctly. Very easy to overlook small things, especially when it comes to hand animations, they can also have a mind of their own. I'd be happy to contribute some time if you guys need anything :)

Thanks for the reply. Yea Zach did the animation tweaks to get the hands in the right pos but when i added the file to the mod it did not work as intended. lol.

We could most definitely use your help with what we are doing. So thanks for offering, ill msg you and we can organise from there. :D

Yea maybe put an RDS on top later in time but we will do one on the ACOG first.

Check that you still have the character model.cfg in the same folder as your new handanim.rtm (if not, you can find it in the character samples folder that BIS provided with the tools release).

Also, what program are you using to compile the .pbo, and are you binarising it when you're compiling to test the animation or not? Some .pbo packing utilities don't play nice with .rtm files.

If you're using the official binPBO/AddonBuilder tool to compile, binarise the .pbo but check to see whether or not having *.rtm in the "list of files to copy directly" makes a difference either way.

Ok so we got the animations to work and they look very neat.

Done a ton of work on the weapons this week (tweaking the custom sounds for the weapons)

getting the config right to be compatible with ASDG joint rails.

Now just creating some custom Ammo for thr SG works SKS (will use Spartans Ballistics when he has finished his amazing work) and some more texture work on the HK 416 and 17s adding the AFG and VFG variants.

Also WarLord544 has joind us on the project and is working ATM on some Oxygen related fixes for the weapons and texture tweaks.

Looking forward to getting this to you all.

Yea just doing minor tweaks on the textures for the HKs and a flip up site for the m203 on the 416 then we will get them in oxygen and Game ready..

I am really looking forward to seeing those in game as i have already done the sounds for the HKs so most of it is good to go.

Excuse me if I'm out of line, but do you guys have a tentative release date in mind? I'm really excited to make some missions now that there are high-quality models of these weapons! And if you're looking for some help, I have an engineering background so I'm comfortable with 3D modeling in AutoCAD, etc, can't imagine those wouldn't translate at least a little bit to this!

Hey Bigring.

release date is not set as of yet for the first release of weapons but we will give you an ETA when we have a clear idea on how close we are . So probably when we are alpha testig (which is very soon)

As for helping with the project if you can 3d model i have 2 or 3 things you could help us with ill chat to you Private message.

JinougaF you have been following us from the beginning and we appreciate your interest and excitement .

But its no use giving the community half polished weapons so i will announce a date when its within a week or two of compleation . will be worth the wait .. trust me .lol

Guys please be patient. The mod is coming along very well, but we all want the best quality work possible upon release. Blaze will keep you guys updated as good as he can, and I know he's as excited as everyone else about these quality weapons. As for a set date, when we are confident everything is in order, he will give the community a heads up.

Got enough to do with the array of weapons we are working on ATM.

I just finilised the textures on the AUG A3 olive black and tan. Redone the SG sks textures also the SAR 21 has had a face lift.

The accessories are coming along well, nearly done .

All we have left to do is the HKs and minor optimizations on config and the 7.62 ballistics from spartan...

How are those ACR's coming along...the ones based on the Bushmaster ACR that I mentioned a while back? Im really looking foward to those, and great work on all the weapons by the way. Oh and one more thing. Is the ACR going to fire 5.56 NATO or 6.5 Grendel, I really hope it's 5.56 NATO as I never really was fond of the weird 6.5 round.

Hey viper

The ACR is set for v2 along with our m4, mk.18, F90 and the desert tac srs sniper rifles.

ACR will be chambered in 556x45.
