It would have been done before if it wasn't so difficult to model jamming, which I understand was a known problem of the M16A1.

There is already made a M101 which i have succesfully used at ranges up to 4 km and I know Frandsen has a M109 in the works.

The AI only uses M101 as field guns and thats what most players will use em as as theres no way to aim em at ranges.

Not if you used good ammunition and cleaned it after firing. Any weapon will jam if you use shitty ammo and yu don't clean it. The jungle conditions and humidity in Vietnam probably didn't help either.

Ah probably wont go with the camo skin. Im gonna be skinning it after my brother's. So it will have od green furniture. Unless you wish to contribute quality high res images of one? But It should turn out quite nice either way.

The M500 looks and sounds good, however i guess (i might be wrong) it's rather civilian or law enforcement model than military one, so i'm waitnig for m590 with regular buttstock instead of pistol grip.

And yesss... we need M249 SAW. Although we have those from Taiwan Workshop and the one from Stormtrooper but i'd like to see somethig that has quality of Fliper's or Kegetys' addons. And it has to be this model of M249 - with polymer buttstock and heatshield:
