bardosy 154 Posted October 2, 2013 I created a mission before the first official patch and mission went well, but since 1.02, the groups didn't follow their WPs. Here is a picture. At the left side, you can see the editor with WPs moving from south to North-West (I draw a red arrow to show). On the right side, you can see the actual gameplay screenshot, when you can see, the renegade groups left the battle and go to West. It's not an improved AI, because they didn't flank or something smart, they actually LEFT the battlefield, they are so FAR from the fight they didn't do any useful. Without these supportive infantry groups, the player cannot capture the town, so my mission ruined. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
xendance 3 Posted October 2, 2013 I'm having similar problems. On hold waypoints the squad leaders just like to say "move 200 meters EAST" and then my squad goes to a completely wrong place. iceman77 18 Posted October 2, 2013 I've noticed the Ai acting weird too. Sometimes, they run away, even when courage & even allowFleeing are set to allow maximum fighting. Also, the group seems to not listen when 2nd in command has to take over as squad leader. Sometimes they just sit there. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dmarkwick 261 Posted October 2, 2013 I have noticed, although I have no idea if this has always been the case or not, that a group with a leader's position set to random 200m (or whatever) is most often split up into two, meaning that some units' first activity is to catch up.
