EuroSlave 1 Posted September 2, 2013 I'm sure there have been a few threads about this. Very disappointing it's not fixed.
pharoah 65 Posted September 2, 2013 The issue with the miniguns on the AH-9 is that they don't converge, not within 500m anyway. I tested this last night on a single enemy inf from 500m to about 50m...the rounds were landing on both sides of him without hitting him and got worse the closer I got. They need to converge the guns to say 300m which gives you a good spread at further distances but also a good kill zone with sufficient altitude to pull up and avoid target fixation. Without converging MGs, you have to try and yaw left/right to get any hits...which doesn't happen because, as you gain speed, the ability to yaw reduces significantly. pharoah 65 Posted September 2, 2013 Awesome, thanks Max. Has anyone raised a ticket on this?
Smurf 12 Posted September 3, 2013 Since the thread is miniguns: Ghosthawks are also equiped with the Blackhawk's mind control for crew weapons? Really? AKA: No hands on miniguns when you are a door gunner.

pharoah 65 Posted September 3, 2013 (edited) [edited] Lets vote for the main ticket here --> http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=12268 if we don't make it obvious/visible to BIS, they may never correct it. max power 21 Posted September 3, 2013 Since the thread is miniguns: Ghosthawks are also equiped with the Blackhawk's mind control for crew weapons? Really?AKA: No hands on miniguns when you are a door gunner. Technically that's an animation issue, not an issue to do with the configuration of the miniguns. It's probably best thought of as a crew animation for vehicles issue.
NordKindchen 12 Posted September 3, 2013 The miniguns are not aligned AT ALL. Not at any distance. on top of that there is no visible dispersion on the guns.
