Taosenai: i wouldlike to take out the Blast Fragmentation part of your mod, because we get a lot of

"No shape for ammo type TMR_"... error messages in MP. I know TMR isn't designed for that but many of the modules works flawless :)

I really appreciate any help you can provide,

Hi,

I saw that this mod doesn't support triplescreen setups yet.

Do you plan to support this setup in the near futur or is not even possible with the way this mod works?

Yeah I tried and it hangs a lot !!!

You can just remove the 2d scopes PBO file from the mod folder and then it works with a triple-head, as I have that setup too.

A question for users: Is aiming easier with TMR system? and if it is, how much?

I don't talking about realism; but simply if is easier aiming and shooting in all range.

Easier is subjective, but the recoil of the guns is more predictable. The gun goes up and comes back down, so it can be seen as being easier to handle. One thing that I like is that your accuracy will increase with practice, as you'll become better at controlling the gun's recoil. The 2D scopes are also more precise, as the BDCs (bullet drop compensator) are more accurate than on the '3D' scopes, so you should be able to engage more accurately at range.

Armilio - I suspect you're looking for "is it an exploit / cheat etc"

I would suggest not it's just a different way of viewing the same data - 3d Scopes are a nightmare to work with Track IR so 2d Scopes like these are v important.

However you lose peripheral awareness - that you naturally get with the 3D scopes.

The recoil is more predicatable, but if you're used to vanilla then may be a distraction.

I wouldn't say easier - different.

My post isn't a critic; I'm not looking about cheats. Simply in coop-missions - if shooting become easier - maybe i must increase IA-skills, for balancing... ;)

For example: i think advantages for better aiming in long distances are more then disadvantages of losing peripheral awareness. But if it is realistic, i don't complain that.

Ok, I see where you're coming from. In my opinion it will not affect your interactions with ai; it's too subtle for that

Probably been reported already, but the MRCO optic has an issue. In 1X mode, it uses the original BIS reticule, but in 4X mode it has your reticule.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure a few pages back Tao said he couldn't fix it, he could only change the reticule colour.

Was hoping someone would take it over - personally I wouldn't do without it !

One thing I would like to see is the ability to add the bipod to more weapons packs. Is that possible ?

You need to ask the mod maker's permission.

TMR is open source so no you don't need to ask for permission it is already granted.

And yes you can add the bipod function for more weapons but you will have to define their class in the config.ccp of the tmr_autorest.pbo.

Is there any interest in updates for TMR still? I've been fiddling around with it and I've got a couple of small bugs fixed, as well as an (almost) finished overheating system. If people are still actively using TMR I'm happy to take a look at any bugs you want fixed or features you want added and get a GitHub repo up and running, but I don't know how many of you have moved onto alternative addons by now.

TMR is one of my group's main addons. Would definitely be interested in seeing more updates!

You mean like the ones already in Arma?

Still prefer GDSN's version. Drop the A3 vanilla ones and they revert to sand coloured :P

Yes we have added them to our mission and now TMR throws an error when using them

weapon:"arifle_MX_SW_Black_F" with 7 modes needs weapon mode with index 6, but given silencer(muzzle_snds_H) has only 5 modes
