Nobody an idea for this: "CreateDXGIFactory2" in DLL "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll" not found.

Tried to reinstall DirectX, didnt help. Puting a d3d11.dll in the steam folder of ArmA helped a little bit but the game crashed after the "loading addons etc. screen".

Also using Win 8.1 64bit. No problems with other games.

Thx

Same problem here. I updated to Windows 8.1 today and I got exactly this error, I tried to reinstall DirectX and nvidia drivers but nothing helps.

My HW:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K (4,5 GHz)

Mobo: MSI Z77A-GD55

RAM: Corsair 2x4GB DDR3 (1866 MHz)

Graphics: GIGABYTE GTX670 OC , 2GB GDDR5

Edit:

Problem solved, it seems it is caused by SweetFX. So if it any one of you using and you have this problem, try to delete it. It helped for me, for some reasons SweetFX doesn't work anymore on Win 8.1

just disable at NVIDIA Control Panel underl "Stereoscopic 3D" the stereoscopic 3D feature that seems will enable by default during update

is there a fix / workaround for using sweetFX with ArmA 3 under WIn 8.1?

I tried RadeonPro -> it works, but only when I launch the game with it - I want to launch it with palywithsix..
