zamozam 10 Posted August 7, 2013 Oh. Well who are their SF who go out from French territory? Not sure but i think there is the Legion Etrangère, they got really cool stuff (I had the chance to train with them while serving in french army) or there's also COS (commandement des opérations spéciales) soldiers :)
dr@gon 118 Posted August 8, 2013 The French have; Army Special Forces 1er régiment de parachutistes d'infanterie de marine: Tier-1 direct action unit (If you like comparisons this unit is like US Delta Force) 13e Régiment de Dragons Parachutistes: long range reconnaissance unit The Marines and AirForce also have a Special Forces element. The Commandement des Opérations Spéciales (COS; "Special Operations Command") is the overall Special Forces Command similar to US SOCOM.
AveryTheKitty 2626 Posted August 8, 2013 (edited) SAS wouldn't wear any sort of ballistics vest, at least when doing behind-enemy-lines operations. They would wear beanies, jackets, a chest rig, and a Bergen. Yes I know I'm late. :P Scorpion body armor (FCS) doesn't work. ;_; Edited August 19, 2013 by Nightmare515
antoineflemming 14 Posted August 22, 2013 NATO SOC addon, along with my SCO JFC addon, will be bundled together in the Mediterranean Operations package. It's a larger download (~230MB) but it's meant to be bundled with another upcoming addon of mine. This is in preparation for the September 12 Arma III release. At that time you can expect to see NATO Special Operations Command, SCO Joint Forces Command, and Mediterranean Alliance (featuring Cretan, Stratian, and Limnos resistance and defense forces), as well as islands Agios Efstratios and Limnos (authentically renamed versions of Stratis and Altis, only using configs).
