Looks like a good start! Welcome to the fraternity of crazy idiots who think it's a good idea to make helicopter addons!

Are you using orthos or schematics as reference to proportion the thing?

After the initial modelling and texturing, the end game of addon making can be pretty brutal. If you want to ask any questions later, feel free. There is also an aircraft addon maker community social group.

Nice start on the project, looking forward to seeing it finished.

One thing though, the OH-58Ds were only armed with M3Ps, Hydras and Hellfires, the M134 'Minigun' was only used on the OH-58A :)

You are right he should make what he wants. For some reason I thought 0h-58 and Uh-72 was of the same family. One is Bell one is Eurocopter. MMAAA BAAD!

The issue isn't really who made what helicopter but rather addon requests kindly go in the addon request thread.

Looking good, something i would like to suggest for the cockpit is random items and depending on which era/theater you want to base it, things like sand/dust in the corners of parts if you're going for a Desert/modern era seeing the OH58 doesn't seem to have doors on very often, or mud in the cockpit floor if you're thinking more of a woodland/cold war era, perhaps a rifle or smoke grenade in the cockpit or some maps aviation maps/books down the sides of sets, etc, just to add some character to it, like ground vehicles, helicopters never seem to be imaculate with pilots having gear that isn't on their vest or legboard around the place; there's a video around of a Oh-58 over afghan which looked to have a Rifle and magazines on the dashboard with a smoke grenade on the center pillar if you're looking for some inspiration :P

Yeah he already placed a couple of smoke grenades and bottles of water. They are hard to spot cus of no texture yet. But he thought of it and I was pleased with that. Awsome job Heripai!
