An update for all you ARMA 3 fans. We received 35 applications in March and now have 3 dedicated US and EU ARMA 3 alpha servers.

We are currently one of the largest arma 3 alpha CO-OP group and are expanding everyday. We will be closing registrations in a week as we prepare for our mini-deployment. We have planned operations on several of the new ARMA 2 ported islands and hope to be one of the first communities to run large scale organised arma 3 operations.

In 2007 (Operation Reality) now Reality Gaming, was a leader in developing a type of game play unique to ARMA 2. We hope to emulate that success in arma 3 and hope you can join us as we embark on this new challenge.

Reality Gaming is an international mature ARMA 3 community. Our Task Force is made up of unique (non-clone, copycat) squads. We have both active and former serving military personnel who will show you how to become a milsim member. Our Recruit Combat (RCT) training will get you up to task while training with new recruits at your own speed.

You will then be able to select a specialisation and squad that fits you best. We are highly motivated and our community has a 1 in 3 chance of failure, In April we received over 100 applications.

At 50 active core Task Force members we are once again opening our doors.

We are now working towards creating a revolutionary type of ARMA 3 gameplay and need active roleplayers, negotiators and OPFOR to challenge our members and help create a unique in game experience. We are now in pre-deployment Phase and will soon be closing our doors again as we move into our Real World Deployments, the most emersive action pack realistic ARMA playing style you have ever seen. We have been refining Reality Gaming since 2007 and strive to be leaders in reality.

Not being content with futuristic (non-milsim) weapons, we have adapted the use of several community addon's and released our first ARMA 3 Alpha Mod Pack.

The staff at RG have been hard at work selecting new weapon systems and loadouts (including skins) for use within the Reality Gaming Task Force. These new armaments will provide 1st Rifles Platoon with increased fire power while helping identify friend from foe. Vegas (SFOD-V] will also have a selection sophisticated weaponry allowing the unit to specialise in several roles.

Following the full release of ARMA 3, we are actively deploying over 100 men across 2 different time zones to conduct operations within Altis Island, Greece.

On October 20 2013 we are deploying to Altis for 4 weeks conducting operations on behalf of the RG International Task Force. After several months acclimatising and training our sections are now fully prepared and fit for tasking.

On behalf of myself and the joint staff I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Here at RG we are all different ages, from different walks of life. We share our trials and tribulations with one another and it's at this time of year our community has its true meaning.

Deployment 4 Introduction - Teaser intel.

In the autumn of 2012 RG Forces were deployed to Takistan in order to locate the source of the enemy incursions into Afghanistan. At the time southern Takistan was undergoing many of the same problems that Afghanistan was facing, namely weak central and local political control with towns either run or largely influenced by a strong Taliban presence. Using the hesitancy of the weak Takistan government to allow what would be perceived as a foreign invasion, the Taliban were able to use the national border as a defensive screen to conduct operations of a large scale.

This came to an end when it was discovered that chemical weaponry was being stockpiled. The taskforce were given permission to eradicate these weapons. The mission was successful, and shortly after RG were redeployed to another location.

In the year that followed the Taliban influence reduced. Hurt by the attacks in the local vicinity, and with the route into Afghanistan being compromised, most of the leaders relocated away. This resulted in the area being able to form a strong local government. With a mix of an increase in the national armed forces being deployed to the area alongside international aid money paying for a local militia, stability was swiftly restored to the area. Life was still brutal, but order and civilisation began to take hold in the area.

This all changed two months ago. The Taliban were back, and had a point to prove against the local forces. Four times in the space of 2 weeks there we explosive attacks on government buildings. The first two occurred within a matter of hours, as Police Stations in Chaman and Sakhe were partially destroyed. The third explosion was much larger, and targeted on one of the militia camps based in Jilavur, resulting in 18 casualties including the deaths of three South Africans and an Australian. The final attack, critically, came against a small hospital in Rasman, the heart of the local government. This resulted in the call for international assistance.

And that, soldier, is why we are back.

Reality Gaming are now testing and conducting operations using Zeus (The new Game Master/Dungeon Master tool) to further enhance our battlefield experience. This role requires a dedicated RG member to dynamically create additional tasks for the Task Force to respond to within a live operation.

The RG Games Master is responsible for creating an additional experience for our members while making things challenging, yet not overwhelming. Zeus is now being built into our training missions (Wednesday) and official Sunday Operations. We invite you to join us and experience this long awaited feature.

Using a combination of Dedicated Role Play, ALiVE, The RG Mod Pack, The RG Mission Template, ARMA2 MAPS and Zeus, we are aiming to create a unique action packed realistic arma3 milsim experience.

We need your feedback and participation to make this a success.

The RG Games Master role is not for everyone. It is a role that requires a dedicated experienced member to monitor the flow of battle and create dynamic scenarios for our Task Force. Combined with the mission objective, flow of battle, role play elements and general chaos of war, you will need to be focused and disciplined within this role. This role will therefore remove you from participating in the operation as a milsim soldier.

We are currently testing this feature in combination with our the 0.8 (beta) RG mod pack. We are also introducing new maps following several sucessful operations within Takistan, Chernarus and Zargabad in preparation for D5 (Deployment 5).

DEPLOYMENT 5:

Reality Gaming are proud to announce the details of our highly anticipated 4 week international event, D5. Following months of community development and preparation, we are now embarking on our 5th Deployment (D5) - Operation Arctic Fox.

Starting August 2014, The Reality Gaming Taskforce will be actively deployed to the Nordic ring to conduct ARCTIC FOX, the name given to our exclusive 4 week story driven dynamic Operation. Using land, air and sea, Taskforce RG will once again be operating on behalf of NATO, providing security for the Arctic region and its assets.

Once again we are opening recruitment to the community, now could not be a better time to join Reality Gaming as we conduct some casual missions and enter 8 weeks of new training, Plan Deployment 6 and launch our new website in September. At RG we do things a little differently, our dedicated staff and officers have created an adult organised drama free environment for you and all your friend to enjoy and do some quality milsim, while learning how to improve your individual skills within our International Task Force. We do not take ourselves too seriously and understand our individual members needs.

GRAND OPENING 3RD DEC 2014

Welcome to the Reality Gaming Training Academy.

MILSIM SOLDIER TRAINING

Reality Gaming soldiers have always received the best military training in the world. There are a number of stages to your training; first, you'll complete Basic Training and learn the foundational skills of a soldier. After this you will progress to Specialist Training, which will qualify you for your chosen profession within the Task Force. From there you will begin your work within an RG unit, but will continue to train and learn throughout your milsim career.

LEARNING THE ROPES

All soldiers at Reality Gaming must first complete Basic Training at the Academy Training Centre (ATC) at Altis, near Reality Gaming HQ. The RGTA is home to Camp Reality, also known as "Training in the HEAT." Full-time members undertake ongoing training, while reserves will complete a minimal of Basic Training.

The skills learnt at Camp Reality form the foundation of a career as a soldier and are called upon for years to come. RG Recruits walk out these doors a stronger and more confident person, with a wealth of new experiences to draw upon.

You'll also receive basic military and weapons combat training. Navigation, drill and advanced field-craft will also be covered.

CONTINUOUS TRAINING

Your milsim career development doesn’t end with your basic training. Within RG, opportunities abound for continued career development. As well as specialist training courses, the Task Force also operates promotion courses that prepare you for your higher rank and the responsibilities and duties that go along with it. If you’re up for the challenge, the opportunities are there.

BUILD ON YOUR TRAINING

You can choose to grow your skills in your existing specialisation through additional training or study. Or you might even be approved to specialise in another field.

Once you have completed basic training and carried out a mandatory weekly joint training with your section, you are free to explore Camp Reality and earn qualifications, awards and certifications on the ranges. Various courses and goals will be available to you and your team mates to compete and earn additional levels of achievement.

The Gauntlet and other RG courses will be developed into the Training Environments.

Times and Selection:

Note: We have several skilled roles available for those who wish to participate. We will provide full training to those who are over 18 and have a can do attitude. Our mantra is quality over quantity, meaning we are looking for those who fit in and aid our established organisation.

Deployment starts September 2015 (6 months planning) and will last 4 weeks.

Deployment Background and Video

 

 

 

 

In 2007 and in the wake Operation Enduring Freedom, Global political powers quietly created and funded the RG Task Force. Said to be comprised of the best and brightest combat veterans from all over the world, RG is the go to organisation for strategic international conflict and is directly contracted and deployed by private commission. 

 

RG has recently been formally recognised by Russia as a coalition force, the joint efforts combined with heavy financial contributions have inspired routine cooperation between the two entities. Often operating in political hot zones, RG's personnel complete un-conventional tasks not suited for contemporary military forces. 

 

 

The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics has fallen. The Russian Federation is still trying to recover from this as its cities fall into financial Turmoil.

 

In desperate attempts to find ways of economic recovery, scientists have uncovered the worlds largest land mass deposit filled with precious materials, as well as a uncap crude oil reservoir.

 

The location is under international pressure as the Chinese close in to mark their interest.

 

 

Task Force RG has been directed to support the Russian forces in defense of,  "Crimson Dragon." 

 

 

The members of Reality Gaming comprises of mature professionals, ex or serving members of international forces alongside veteran milsim gamers.

HOLIDAY UPDATE & SCHEDULE 2016

Reality Gaming Milsim Community

 

At Reality Gaming we are celebrating another great year having completed over 250 action packed events. As we enter our 9th year of milsim excellence, I would like to thank everyone that has put their differences to one side and over came adversity to help make RG a respected recognised community with one of the best international online Task Forces in the world.

Our official events will cease on Sunday 13th Dec 2015 with a special all day casual Vietnam event, this will be our final official event of 2015. The servers and Team Speak will be operational and we invite you all to join us as we see in the new year with and beer and a song. Operations will resume Sunday 3rd Jan 2016, where we will be training and planning our goals while putting Deployment 7 (D7) into focus.

I want to thank all our staff and members for another amazing year at Reality Gaming and want to wish you and your families a happy holidays from us all.

Reality Gaming is in the final of the ARMA 3 end game tournament this weekend. 

 

 

This Saturday Bohemia Interactive will be hosting the final match in the official Arma 3 End Game Tournament. In this tournament, 8 teams – composed of Arma 3 developers, community groups, and other special guests – faced off for the glorious title of Arma 3 End Game Champion. The Final match (Arma 3 Ambassadors vs RG Task Force) will be live streamed to www.twitch.tv/arma3official on Saturday December 5, starting at 18:00 UTC, with commentary by community shoutcasters Mic One and Stardog.
