NeMeSiS 11 Posted January 14, 2013 Open office works like Ms Office + it exports to PDF However you cant open/edit PDFs properly, though there are plugins available, but i never used them and they dont seem to convert 100% properly. (Btw, MS word also saves as pdf) Its a shitty format imo.
mr burns 133 Posted January 14, 2013 http://www.pdfsam.org/ - no editing though, only split and merge. And of course: Adobe is offering many of their CS2 software for FREE for PC and Mac.
becubed 24 Posted January 15, 2013 The free PrimoPDF is good, or the versions that I used were. http://www.primopdf.com/ Appears as a printer on your system so you just pick print from any app and select primo as the printer.

I made my first dialog/UI recently, and I want to do a simple "how to make your first dialog/UI" tutorial.

orcinus 121 Posted January 20, 2013 A bit OT, perhaps, but.. I have a Canon Pixma printer (MG5250). While I use Libre Office & Open Office (both of which can read/write PDFs using plug-ins, but not without some issues) I was delighted to find that my printer could scan in a print-out & save it as a perfect PDF. Bit roundabout but enabled me to send a professional-looking PDF to a client :) Not free, but an excellent printer for the price - except for the ink costs, ofc :(
