Interigrate ACE and ACRE and all the ace mods into Arma 2 mission file?

Hello! i wonder if its posible to add ace and all the mods like acre, rq11-haven and stuff like that into a deafult roleplay mission file for arma 2 oa? and how do i do that? is it any tutoritonal on this?

Yeah you can integrate any mods into any mission you like. As far as what kind of mission and even making the mission(s), that's up to you. At very least you would integrate the addons/mods into a current RPG game mode. You would need to find the class names for the mod content and place those class names into some config(s) in said rpg mission.

If I were you, I'd grab Mr. Murrays Editing Guide. Go over that, make some missions and get comfortable with the editor as well as integration of simple scripts. I'd do that before anything else.

okay! but do i just put the ace class in mission.sqm? in addons? or how? is it any example out here? or if you can make a example of the acre and ace? because i need to add ACE, ACRE, USnavy ace, and all the ace mods and rh mods

If you mean "Can I play the single player campaign with ACE active?" the answer is Yes. You don't have to change anything.

If you mean "Can I play the single player campaign with ACE active and add things from ACE into the game world so I can use them?" the answer is yes, but you'll need to open the mission files, edit them and repack them as a new version and hope it all works.

I mean for multiplayer! How do i do that with MP? a tutortional? or explain is details?

not install! Adding the ace and acre script to work into my mpmission file for multiplayer gameplay! do anyone have a tutoritonal on that? as im little stupid when it come to some english words

Are you asking how to put the entire ACE and ACRE addons into a mission .pbo file?

If so, then no, it's not possible.

You cannot port an entire addon such as ACE and ACRE into a mission file.

You can add objects, modules, weapons etc from the addon. You would depbo (using DePBO or Eliteness) the mission file and then add item or script you want, resave it and then play.

No, because it isn't possible :).

im realy confused now! why does other servers can run acre and i not on my server then? it has to do with the script!

To use ACRE just make sure everyone has ACRE loaded as a mod and the plugin running on their Teamspeaks. Make sure the server is running ACRE as a mod. Then put down a Radio Box so people can get different radios if they want. ACRE will automatically replace ItemRadio with the PRC-343 personal radio.

So there's really nothing you need to do in the mission other than maybe include other radios via the Box or whatever. No scripts needed, just make sure everyone has the mod and you've included radios on the map.

it work now but i cant open the radio up by the key

He just wants to play his missions with addons. He wants to know how to integrate an addon/mod into his mission. ie; inserting classnames etc etc. It's not hard, but if you haven't even bothered to learn basic things then explaining how to put classnames into missions is pointless.

The answer to your question is this: replace any default clasnames that you don't want with ACE classnames. If you want some sort of ACRE script that makes it manditory to have acre then you'll have to look at some ace domination missions, which will kick players that don't have acre enabled etc. Really, no one can explain how to do this, because it's just like I said... replace the classnames. Nothing more and nothing less for the most part. There may be some instructions with acre and ace regarding enabling/disabling features in your init.sqf

All have been said already, but I'll *try* to make it more clear:

If you just want to use ACE and ACRE, all you have to do is activate them as a mod. No scripting needed whatsoever. Get in a mission (on a server that also runs those modes, like your own hosted server for example) and see how nicely they work! If you can't make ACE/ACRE work, go to the appropriate thread and look for help there. Again, you do not need any scripting or edit any missions just to run a mod. My hunch is that this is your real problem - As in either you or your friends are not running the mod properly or are not running the correct versions.

If you want to put the mods in a mission PBO to get them automatically downloaded for all players connecting - This is not possible in any way whatsoever.

If you want to have ACE/ACRE items (tanks, special radios, new weapons) that aren't already in the mission you are playing, you will have to edit the mission to include them, and how that is done obviously depends on the mission you are editing and how exactly you want to include them, so nobody can really tell you how to do it without you being more specific about exactly what you're trying to do. An example of a more specific question: "How do I replace the weapons of all soldiers in this mission (see link) to this awesome ACE weapon?"
