Assault (CAN) 1 Posted June 30, 2002 Tomorrow I leave for ATC Meaford, Ontario. I will be gone until the 24th of August. I am not sure if they have internet access there or not, but I have heard they do, if that is the case, I may pop my head in from time to time. If not, this will be one of my last posts for two months. I would like to reply in some more threads here before I go, but the forum is as slow as molasses in mid-January. Oh well...... I have a five hour drive ahead of me, but before that, I have alot of packing to do. I have a whole summer of boredom ahead of me, General Duties tend to suck but hey, at least they pay me good for it. Besides, I need the money for car insurance. I am bringing my camera with me, so I can post a few pics when I get back. So keep the 'Military Stupidity' thread open, I will have plenty of stories to tell when I get back. Then, ignore anything that looks vaguely interesting (except for the Commemorative Air Force Museum, that shit is awesome, I voulnteer out there once ina while), because it aint there. Instead, look at the desert. and the incredible flatness. Its insane. If I can find some more pics that truly demonstrate the awfulnes of this town. Just imagine everything several shades browner, and when the lady talks about the 'lack of humidity', she is making the understatement of the century. Tovarish 0 Posted July 2, 2002 Sorry Warin, couldn't complete the mission...the target was too well defended. I had enough to drink, trust me, but there were barricades set up around the Pairlament buildings, and groups of RCMP at every corner, not to mention those walking among the crowd. Now if I only had a Bizon I could have silently taken out the corner guard stations, hidden the bodies and scaled the barricade .
