Here comes an mission I ve created COOP 8 Operation "Vauxhall" Aliabad is a stronghold and safeheaven for takistani insurgency and one of the last hostile areas in Takistan. Troughout the conflict in Takistan, Aliabad remained remote costal area that had no military value for NATO. However now when operation Crimson Lance have launched NATO must enter the region and defeat the guerilla and insurgency. The highcommand decides to launch operation Vauxhall. Several units from 1st Marine Battalion and 2nd Australian Royal Battalion are deployed into the area. another123 11 Posted August 3, 2012 (edited) New release of Operation Vauxhall, its now v.1.2 Fixes -Tasks are now fully working. -End is now fully working. -Convoy arrives to first objective automatically now. -Added security detail to convoy. -UAV does not draw enemy fire. -UAV terminal (normal Humvee) is now avalible to move around. -Fixed enemy units melted together with buildings. -Objectives are now marked with zones on the map, that makes it easier to complete them. -Script error fixes. I tried to use Phela, but somehow when you entered UAV, you couldnt leave it. I was forced to use MQ, However I underline its "Modern" russian forces and I bet they have some UAVs avalible, maybe not directly US made, but the marked offers a wide variety of UAVs avalible to purchase by goverments. :) Again Id be thanfull for any posts here with some rating or tips notes and repors from my missions. Kommiekat 11 Posted August 6, 2012 Hi, been playing it for hours now, as SP. Have encountered two problems: Please Ck your chopper landing points or scripts. They are landing on top of eachother. About the UAV....it seems to change the player to the UAV even when I do not click it. Sometimes, pressin "M" key for my map will take me automatically to the UAV. Also, the UAV does not seem to cover the entire portion of the Operations anyways. Going for the 3rd objective but I think I'll wait until you can verify things for me. Thanks! another123 11 Posted August 6, 2012 Regarding the choppers, its three of them and they are connected together to make an unit. I think Its game logic that steers them to land. The skills are set to 100 so AI is steering the chopper on its own. During the testing I saw that the choppers used to land on each other, However It depends because during different replays the choppers acted differently. Regarding the UAV, I dont really know what problem there is, because I didnt encounter it earlier. I wanted to set Pchela as UAV for the unit. However Once you entered it via actions menu you couldnt leave it so I had to use MQ9. Perhaps you should check your control settings or maybe its a game bug. Last but not least UAV is unarmed. another123 11 Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) Ive tested this mission today, and somehow UAV works correctly for me. I enter the UAV and than I can leave it. However I fixed the chopper landing zones, indeed choppers were flying into each other, It should be fixed. I know the problem with UAV because as I mentioned earlier it occoured for me when I was trying to use Pchela as UAV. You entered it but you couldnt leave, thats why I changed it to MQ 9, It worked correctly afterwards. I dont really know what the problem with UAV might be casued by. Maybe its a bug, maybe not. Do you play the mission with some extra mod? It might be caused by it. Also try to replay/restart the mission, and run it with -showscripterror, than Im out of ideas :p The script for the UAV is taken from ArmA2 wiki, I ve ran the mission with -showscripterror and it dosent show any error there so i really have no clue whats wrong with it. Does anybody else encoutered the same problem? Anyway. sxp2high 23 Posted April 28, 2013 We played both Supplies and Afternoon Hike tonight. Very enjoyable. Especially Afternoon Hike was very intense. :) We actually ran out of ammo towards the end of Afternoon Hike.
