euly 0 Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) Hi, I'm looking for some feedback on an essay I've been writing about structural design for organized gaming. The applied concept (IMHO) might anger some people, so please don't bother reading it if you can't be intellectual or comment with constructive criticism. It's on Google Docs, so you can comment by highlighting the text you want to comment on and write your comment on the right side. Be warned, this is a big essay that I spent most of April writing and it's still a work in progress. Thank you Edited May 23, 2014 by Lucidity
W0lle 1052 Posted May 4, 2012 Moved to OT as I think it suits better, also allows discussion on the subject without us approaching each and every reply. :) The applied concept (IMHO) might anger some people, so please don't bother reading it if you can't be intellectual or comment with constructive criticism. And in case you read it and get angry after: Don't even think about about using this thread for hate posts or sending abusive PMs to the Lucidity - else we get angry and that surely is nothing you really want. ;)
PELHAM 10 Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) An interesting and thought provoking read - thank you. I guess we have all experienced that many times in many different fields, it's universally applicable to group social interactions. euly 0 Posted May 24, 2012 Interesting Read, I hope you manage to finish that last section. An interesting and thought provoking read - thank you. I guess we have all experienced that many times in many different fields, it's universally applicable to group social interactions. Thank you for taking the time to read the article. I don't expect anyone to comment on it because it's just too big and it's a lot like a college essay. I started writing the whole thing after someone started telling me about creating a "community" in a fanboy'ish homage to ShackTac. I guess the concept of a "clan" has changed over the years, so it reminded me of being involved with something that I now think is a bit silly. I'll finish the last section soon, I've just been busy. Thank you again for the read and the response.

I'm not sure what happened, but it was probably an error. Google is still ironing out the problems for Google Docs.
Matthewkunx 3 Posted June 17, 2012 Very good read indeed! Informative especially the maturity and appeal section as that is sometimes a problem in most gaming groups
