Tavish 41 Posted July 15, 2012 Is there a classname for the ILAW and it's projectile?
cleggy 297 Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) Is there a classname for the ILAW and it's projectile? Classname is "blx_weps_ILAW" in both cases I think. Sorry to be so vague but I can't actually remember what I did! You can always de-pbo blx_weapons and have a look.:) btw would anyone be interested in a patch that addresses the rpg infantry not firing? It's a *hotfix* because I've always wanted to do one of those! Edited July 16, 2012 by cleggy
markb50k 1 Posted July 16, 2012 sounds good, hotfix away!
cleggy 297 Posted July 17, 2012 Here is a link to a small config tweak addressing the issue of rpg armed infantry not firing on the Ridgback. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?g88mdu6lardluj2 Place in the same folder as the ridgback pbo and you should see a difference in the way enemy infantry react. Although rpg's will now be used other infantry will just loon about, so it's not the 'Holy Grail' - fiddling with 'damageresistance' is just 'Numerwang' as far as I'm concerned.... At least there's a choice now, see which version you prefer. My thanks to da12thMonkey for correcting my initial attempt at a patch. I've only been doing this for years - you'd think I would have grasped some of it by now!:)

cleggy 297 Posted August 5, 2012 Is there a way to make the ridgeback stronger? Death accrues after one RPG Hit. What RPG are you using? If it's an RPG18(?) not an RPG7 then, yes, one hit will kill it. I think thats about right. In testing with RPG7s (the type an insurgent would use), it took about four to start troubling it. If an RPG7 is repeatedly destroying it with one hit then my next question would be are you using BIS vanilla weapons or something third party?
