Goetterfunke2 0 Posted June 14, 2002 yep, anything your UH-1 e.g. would be very cool The SEB NAm pack would be great to integrate so we can make a package of all islands, MPmissions,camapigns an addons - like open source Mod from th community thats better then downloading anything separate without having any missions for it... Eviscerator 0 Posted June 14, 2002 well ill make a uh-1d for you if you want, if you find a texturer and someone to put it through oxygen, theres going to be an AH-1G coming out soon from the nam pack guys (modelled by me) you should probably think about contacting selectthis or ebud, im also going to be making a CH-3 jolly green giant, a oh-13 Sioux and a chinook gunship, and an oh-58a so if you join with the nam pack guys it means theres more of an opportunity to get them ingame, as the nam pack people only have one guy with oxygen that can help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Die Alive 0 Posted June 14, 2002 How wide is the valley? There should be areas, like clearings where a chopper can land and it's surrounded on all sides by forest/trees. Also, in Vietnam war, most PBRs (Patrol Boat, River) were used in the Mekong Delta, where it's very flat swamp land. Goetterfunke2 0 Posted June 14, 2002 real jungle is still a prob The Ebuds stuff is very cool for tropic /carribian islands but not so good for vietnam maps as the vegetation there is a bit different. Perhaps theres somebody who will retexture the forest objects to jungle well, i'm a biologist so i'd get lots of sources for textures but I'm not experienced in texture making Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
NVA Killer 0 Posted June 14, 2002 wow looks cool. I think you should use the UH-1D that Martin(i think it was) made, but i think it needs a better skin. Also Adammo is making an OH-6 recon helicopter which you could use since it was used during vietnam. Also martin made a cool Huey gun ship that has a mini gun on the side. Goetterfunke2 0 Posted June 14, 2002 Yep, i know martins UH-1 pretty cool and its already retextured by someone perhaps they will see this thread next days and join the OpenSource Nam mod - since the Big Vietnam Mod from Seventh seems to be released not earlier then 10 months I think Seventh is busy with the Independence Lost project and has no time anymore for his mod.. well meanwhile we could do an own little nam mod by merging all the people and stuff that already exist Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
