Paths Of Hate

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

For those who have not yet heard of the Paths Of Hate, it is a kick ass short film by Polish producer Damian Nenow.

I won't dissect, I'll just let you watch.

The only thing I can say about this is awesome!

Enjoy,

City Of Ruins with original (more fitting) music

Not only that, Sudayev. They also did the fantastic animations for LUC's music videos, most importantly the 39/89 Understanding Poland project by LUC (imo a must-hear), mentioned some time ago in the forums (W39 topic, I guess You can understand why ;) )

Anyway, check this out:

If You like it, be sure to watch the full concert (damn You lo-def YT!)

Full playlist. I strongly recommend it, there's no words to describe it...

But back to Paths Of Hate; Except for the fact I can't access the mentioned website, I heard that on the authors site You can download full 1080p version. It's much better in HD. Plus, I really like the

There is a lot of well earned credit to be given to those at Platige Image. Although I have several reasons for not liking the Animated History of Poland (plenty of historical inaccuracies) I do very much like a promo vid they made for the Polish Institute of Film Arts:

After you have saw this, do watch the following. It's a nice, although a tad short insight material on how things are being made ;)

I have seen LUC's music video many times but I didn't know it was made by Platige Images though. Now I have no doubts about that ;)

I hope I assume correctly, that we can post about Polish CGI projects in general here, not only Platige Image?

If that's the case - I strongly recommend to watch this one;

Promotional video for the upcoming project 'Warsaw 1935'

In my opinion, once it's completed it will be an ideal companion and context-carrier for City of Ruins linked by Jon few posts above.... :(

I have objections to this part in LUC's video where the cavalry rushes towards the crawling nazi-abomination. It reminds me of this common myth about Polish cavalry charging against German tanks. Now I don't know if the scene in the video is intentional replication of myth or not :/?

Anyways..I'm looking for Battle of Grunwald 1410 video animation. I've only found minute teaser. Is full version one available on youtube ?

Been talked before, many Poles are pretty hmmm touchy about the mentioned myth. It wasn't. To quote myself: "There's no tank, that's only a symbol of Nazis power. And Poles faced it, with their heads up.", finishing: "...even tho their situation was very bad.". I think this explains this.

Yes, we already came to a conclusion when discussing the issue back in the W39 topic. At least it's a homage to the resistance offered in '39, even if heavily symbolized and metaphoric.

The heavy applauded Animowana historia Polski doesn't even bother to show any - German panzers just roll in like nobody's home...
