Bunch of screens utilizing the TKOH engine improvements. Hopefully this stuff makes it into A3.

20km view distance with 20km object distance and 1.5km shadow distance. Ran hilariously bad on a 580, but doesn't that look sexy?

Same idea, except from 10-13km of alt.

Object distance dropped to 'normal' 3km, high alt. Runs fantastically well compared to the prior screens (which, again, are just seeing how it'd look with those insane settings).

Aircraft object distance at 10km, normal view distance at 20km, other view distances at 3km. Those are flares popping from the Mi-24.

Those smoke trails suggest a rather low framerate. :rolleyes:

Have you had many instances where you've seen smoke trails from 5+ km away in OA? I certainly haven't, so I wouldn't know what the 'normal' behavior of them is - all I know is what I saw, and what I took screens of. In the screens shown, the framerate was typically 20-40, depending on various factors like how many units were in play, alt, what was being observed, etc. The only exception are the first two with the insanely high object view distance, which were <10fps.

My random flight and some crash at Chernogorsk :D. I slowly getting used to control helicopter. This is not my best flight, after an hour of flying I was quite exhausted :) and fly with so low fps (about 15) is really difficult.
