mrcash2009 0 Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) My god, what a loaded thread and OFP ... just asking for issues, dear me. Love to see the opposing reverse posted in the forums of the other game, wonder how long that would last :) Edited June 1, 2011 by mrcash2009
Tankbuster 1746 Posted June 1, 2011 (shame on You, BIS supporters, that's NOT how You convince the guy to support your favourite developer, "nubs" :P) The first sensible thing that's been said in this thread. Well done, sir.
mrcash2009 0 Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) Heres my version for the other game thread. "This question is very simple for you. I am an elite sim player. Im going to purchase Arma 3. Please convince me that i should buy your game to. Only thousands of elite players are also waiting for Arma 3 unlike the lesser normal millions for BF2 and they will spend their money on it, that why I'm asking this simple question. Why is your game far worse than all the other games and I should not buy them but Arma 3. Did anyone with an elite sim attitude every question themselves too"That is this chaps thinking in reverse. Pre conceived and all that ;) I think the OFP isn't realy asking to convince him what its like as a comparison, its a well masked snipe at attitudes with a large slab of Irony, minus some self awareness dressing. Horner 13 Posted June 1, 2011 Actually, it's just BF3. It's clearly NOT BFBC. Just saying... And don't prejudge the OP. Who's to say he/she won't decide on ArmA 3 and absolutely love it? OK BF3. (whoops :P) But anyway I'm only prejudging because of the attitude he asked the question with. Like he was entitled to an answer. And I do hope that he buys Arma 3 and loves it. Because we all know he will be missing out if he doesn't.

*LK1* 10 Posted June 1, 2011 The question is easy. I'm a normal customer. I'm going to buy Battlefield 3. Please convince me that i should buy your game to. Thousands of players are waiting for Battlefield and they will spend their money on it, that why I'm asking this simple question. Why is your game much bether than all the other games and I should not buy them but Arma 3. Did anyone asked this question to them selves to ? strange that you dont' have got a lot of insults, oh yeah we could being banned for that...:o that's explain everything. i'll tell you a big segret: arma 3 and bf3 are not going to compete; they are different. i'll buy both probably. ---------- Post added at 07:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:08 PM ---------- ODEN;1941519']It does not sound like that you've been into sim-games before.Stay with BF3 a few more years' date=' please.[/quote'] ;):D come back among us when the pimples will stop tormenting your face. ---------- Post added at 07:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:12 PM ---------- )rStrangelove;1941575']BF3 only allows you to play scenarios the designers gave you. You just need to fork out some money for DLCs from time to time. fastfood logic applied to the game= bf3. i can even eat to shitdonald sometime but not everyday. Alwarren 2767 Posted June 1, 2011 I didn't wanted to start a war Battlefield 3 vs Arma 3. And almost did not fail to do so :p Please look at Battlefield 3. There are thousand and thousand of people waiting for this game. Why ? Because they know how to sell it.This is as pointless an argument as Pepsi vs. Coca-Cola. Answers that i readed here like because it is a good game or because it is made by this company are just funny. This game will never be well known, and sell like Battlefield unles they will do something with this title. Your point being? Seriously, if you like Battlefield 3, go ahead and buy it. I will most likely do so too. That doesn't preclude me from liking the ARMA series. I even played all CoD games (except BlackOps). I really don't get why you vehemently praise BF 3 in an ARMA forum. You could have the best game in the world and it wont sell alone. I was just suprised when I saw Arma 3 screens because no one knew about this game and now suddenly such a probably good title will come out.Er... the concept of "announcement" is know, yes? I mean, one day before they announced BF 3 nobody knew about it either. Seriously, if there is a point to your postings, or your thread here, I fail to see it. demonized 20 Posted June 1, 2011 Main reason for buying any arma game, is that you will never find this kind of extensive coop in any other game. Secondary reasons, even though it has its flaws/bugs, the comunity is experts at dealing with many of the issues themselves. Unlimited potential in terms of missions and gameplay, really unlimited with the editor and open game engine for scripting.
purepassion 22 Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) I think the most of you guys keep forgetting who Bohemia Interactive Studios is ?!? How many people in total do you think are working on Arma III ?!?! give me a number! Edited June 1, 2011 by PurePassion
Gunter Severloh 4063 Posted June 1, 2011 A company may know how to sell a game, but dont mean that after you have played it that its worth anything after. After playing mw1 2 times I put the game down, uninstalled,I was rather bored with it, really nothing more I could do in it, other then mp, and personally the run n gun wasn't my taste. I pawned you, hehe get bent :j: OFP, Arma on the other hand, I couldn't stop playing, it didn't have all the bells and whistle that other games had, but you could do dam near anything you wanted, and anywhere, the possibility for creativity is endless. OFP Arma, and Arma2CO are the only games I play I have no other games on my computer. The community itself is immense in what it does for the game.
TheMrPatrick 10 Posted June 1, 2011 You give us a very good optimized game and I'm 110% in. Arma is one of the best games I have played. Sadly couldn't fully enjoy it :(

Until then, I don't see any point in having his thread. Edited June 1, 2011 by Rellikki
