Confusion regarding the "Reinforcements" DVD rom

i wanted to be sure you don't have installed PMC / BAF and trying over-install it ...

if You want help me track the problem, please try following:

1. have installed A2/OA/A2:CO

2. place A2: RFT into DVD

3. copy the content of the DVD onto HDD

4. keep A2: RFT in bay

5. goto your HDD copy of the install and erase all SETUP.CRC files

6. start AUTORUN.EXE

7. wait till it installs

and share results with us, thanks in advance

First I had my favorite Arma 2 + arma 2 OA to the 1.57 patch. Even the beta did not stand. And then, I spent nine hour his worthless life so that would download arma 2 reforsments and buy a key (and it is - 30 minutes of my life). Decided to put on my favorite Arma 2 CO. but when you install the above error appears.

I do not have shops with games on proximity (it is Russian, do not forget) and I buy games through the Internet.

Certainly for those with legitimate Russian DVD version we are prepared to help. Just considering nature of the product there release is NO legitimate download version as far as I can tell...

3 - OA patching A2 to version 1.06 {patch is on the disk ARMA2Patch_1_06.exe}

4 - received version of the game ARMA 2 Combined Operations 1.51 bild 71083

5 - disk RFT is in drive

6 - copy disk HDD

7 - delete 2 files setup.crc

8 - start AVTORUN.EXE

9 -

Installation does not even begin

there is a check and

A2RFT installed properly

BAF PMC not installed

ps tech support 1C sends.... --->

but the key is a code of technical support

I just pre-ordered my A2: Reinforcements disk today. I had already purchased PMC, is it possible to donate that to my brother if I have already installed it on my machine? It was a sprocket purchase from memory.

I would think it should be ok as a new cd-key will be implemented when I install A@:Reinforcments leaving the other free?

Seriously though: For $15Au the cheap ass should go buy it himself : P

the keys should be overwritten but i strogly recommend to uninstall the PMC first

then you can give it to Your brother and use your RFT for upgrade

copy only folder DLCs

delete setup.crc

instal

again run the patch 1.59 final

get the full version ARMA 2 Combined Operations + BAF+PMC

And now the question!

Hi all,

The reason I brought this up initially was because I have the BAF & PMC DLC's which cost me $9.99 each.

I just wanted to finalize that what I own which is the following IS what is now released:

Arma 2

Arma 2 OA

I bought both when I bought the Combined Operations Disc from Best Buy here in the U.S.

Arma 2 BAF DLC $9.99

Arma 3 PMC DLC $9.99

These were bought separately.

Reinforcements standalone is my BAF & PMC DLC on disk. Right?

So in conclusion: I own the entire set and don't need to buy "Reinforcements"

Correct everyone? BI peeps please?

No, what you own is not what has been released.

You can be even happier because you have A2 + OA missions and campaigns, which are not included in Reinforcements.
