darkxess 60 Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) Description: Ok, so here is a sound for environments such as Zargabad in which it has a big mosque in the city, and as you know if you have been to the middle east, ie Afghanistan or Iraq then you will hear this stuff everyday. So all ive done is found a good Azan Mosque sound and converted it to .ogg file so that you can have a more realistic approach to the game and feel more like your in the middle east. The Azan itself is sung by Al Mishary Al Afasy Usage: Make a description.ext file in your mission folder and add this code: class CfgMusic { tracks[]={nam,eve}; class nam { name = "Azan"; sound[] = {\Sounds\Azan.ogg, db-3, 1.0}; }; }; In the Editor create a trigger and under "effects" >> "track" >> you will find "Azan_Mosque" Included Demo mission: It comes with a mission as a demo version. Extract the folder to your ArmA2\other Profiles\Yournick\Missions and load it in the editor. Credits & Notes: Thank you to Jarhead for the advice on how to convert and edit sounds etc ... Jarhead It took me a long time to find the perfect one for the location! that site link rexehuk gave will help me out a lot, im still trying to find one as close to this in this video if anyone can help me: It fits the scene perfectly! and as this video is sniper based and around desert scenes, its really a cool video. The more help the merrier! Edit: yeah, not knowing how to add the YouTube video properly ive just added the link, grrr...
