Yea, that's VBS2 stuff. Why post it here? VBS is a very different market than ArmA 2, and furthermore that content is probably totally unrelated to BIS.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's enough demand for ArmA 2 terrain DLCs for BIS to profit from it. But who knows, I'm sure BIS has done some market research in preperation for BAF so they probably have a better idea of whether such content makes sense for them to create.

Personally, I'd be glad to pay a fair price for new terrains, but like I said, I have my doubts that it's worthwhile for BIS.

Despite the AI's issue with urban combat, I really think this game needs a huge urban map, Zargabad is just a big town, Chernagorsk is hardly a "city"

Baghdad map was a start, but the copy-pasting is way too evident on that map. Would like to see a city in arma 2 like the size of that one in the second video but might be very choppy on performance.

Which is why you will never see them, that and cost would be far too much to justify a low DLC price, those maps for VBS2 cost $100 or so.

Technicly the community is capable of making such the problem is people want everything, large maps with dense cities also enterable..its just not going to happen, I can garuntee you that none of those buildings have a damage model or are enterable but they get the job done.

The terrain pack is not available to the general public, so your complaining about being forced to buy VBS2 to have it is pointless.

And as said a million of times before: VBS2 != ArmA2
