mrcash2009 0 Posted September 11, 2010 (edited) Yes Sprocket is the place, this is basicly where boxed users should go .. I am a boxed user and used Sprocket, quick simple, not tied to anything like Steam & its direct payment to the game makers. Heres a direct link :) http://www.sprocketidea.com/joomla/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage-honza.tpl&product_id=37&category_id=2&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=2&vmcchk=1&Itemid=2 BTW this thread is the place for all things BAF DLC lots of info in that thread, search in it for "sprocket": http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=103706 Edited September 12, 2010 by mrcash2009
Decerto 10 Posted September 12, 2010 And Sprocket purchases are totally BIS controlled so your money goes straight to them. I don't know if you need to patch to 1.54 (you probably have already) still before you install the BAF content but it should say on the site when you buy it. Laqueesha 474 Posted September 12, 2010 Sprocket FTW. No 24-hour waiting period like some other websites.
ubermachtig 0 Posted September 12, 2010 Well, I got a major issue here. I purchased the boxed edition, and like to buy the DLC just like the Topic Starter. However, steam does not recognize ArmA 2, even when adding a non-steam game. During the checkout, steam claims that I cannot buy the DLC due not having the original (which I do, in boxed edition). Now, Sprocket would be a good alternative, but sadly it does not cover the Dutch payment method IDeal. Therefore I cannot buy it due not owning a credit card. I'm trying to find an way around steam's stubbornness, but I guess it's gonna be hard.

ubermachtig 0 Posted September 12, 2010 No luck mate, Don't have paypal as well. Luckilly I figured a way around it. Gamersgate offered both the download and my preffered paying method. I'm now downloading the DLC. Too bad that these paying methods are not included on Sprocket yet. Paying the full amount to the developers seems very fair to me. Laqueesha 474 Posted September 12, 2010 Steam what? :p Seriously, just purchase the BAF DLC from SprocketIDEA, it's fast and it's easy. You won't regret it.

SmokeyTheLung 10 Posted September 18, 2010 @Dwarden, I would love to support you guys as directly as possible, however sprocket will not except my Card, I'm located in the US (guessing that's the holdup), and steam wouldn't let me download as I have the boxed versions of the games. I guess I'll have to make do with the lite versions...:(
