Looks very well modeled, too. The sights, the attachments and the weapon itsself. I just gotta say, BIS did a great job with those.

a forum post from the devs or ace people? or is it just paranoia?

if they did buy them, then that means they are open to working with the community more closely... maybe incorporating some community fixs in patches or what ever (secondary sites for default arma2 weapons?)?

Those are SCARs that have been made for ACE1, by scubaman and DaSquade, partially redone or modified for OA.

It is no secret that Bi has been buying content created by this community, or have been using 3rd party developers (freelance work).
