xXxDivinexXx 10 Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) Ok so first of all i posted this problem a few days ago about the motion blur. Sitll havent gotta help about it so here i go posting again. If u dont know how to fix it than tell me, Or if its part of the game tell me, dont just ban me LMFAO! So anyways. Ya the motion blur thing when i move the camera, i was wondering if their was a way to fix that? Has nothing to do with buying the game from u guys or not <---- LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!! What does that have to do with anything? I bought the game already said it in my previous post and their is no need for me to say it again because, that DOESNT matter at all, AT ALL! I have been playing alot, Never went online yet. But if their is a way to fix the motion blur let me know. I still think this is hilarious. i laugh at this all the time ---> I ask a questing about my game problem, and i get banned reason: "if you want to use our games than buy them" wtf? Their is only 1 way to tell if i bought the game or not, and thats come to my house and see if i actually have the game, WTF? Just ASSUME, i didnt buy the game? Why the FUCK would i be posting here on the forum about an arma 2 issue if i didnt have the game, Ok so your saying i dont HAVE arma 2? How the hell would i know about the motion blur thing? Why would i be posting an issue im having? WTF? HAHAHAHAHA thats funny. Apperently i DONT have arma 2. You make it sound like arma2 is a HARD game to get and it is so expensive that only 1 in a million people have the game, thats what u make it sound like. It clearly makes no sense. That i would be banned with reason "If you want to use our games then buy them" Ok so this has gotten even funnier, If i want to use your game buy them? LMAO! that goes for all games in this entire world, if you want to play sims 2, Go buy it, If you want to play Bf2 go buy it? Ya and? I know that LMAO! i think its funny Edited August 6, 2010 by xXxexpertxXx
Capt. Sand 10 Posted August 6, 2010 yeah, it's part of the game, but what do you mean by fixing it? you want to turn it off? I think you can just turn off post processing.

Capt. Sand 10 Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) Oh it is? Ya i just tried that real quick, It reduces it alot, But still leaves a slight motion blur. well, I have a monitor that's stuck at 60hz. fraps says I'm getting 75fps in the editor with nothing on the map, and it looks blurry when I look around too fast. Edit: in other words, I have a ghosting monitor at high framerates. OP, take a look at this and see if that's what's going on. Edited August 7, 2010 by Capt. Pain0815 10 Posted August 6, 2010 does this happens too in other 3d games at fast movements? Your monitor is crap then
Capt. Jelliz 10 Posted August 6, 2010 If you have motion blur after turning off postprocessing then you might have triggered FADE.(Most likely that, because you said you were banned before, so the problem was most likely identified as FADE). FADE is the games anti piracy system, it detects an invalid serial key or a modified .exe and starts screwing up your game in various ways.
Capt. Sand 10 Posted August 6, 2010 @Jelliz yeah, I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt here, but it could really just be FADE.

However, I never went online or even tried, I was told that this can be fixed in the options. I have disabled it but still leaves blur just not as much as if it was turned up all the way. b101_uk 10 Posted August 8, 2010 (edited) find your ArmA2.cfg &/or ArmA2OA.cfg if you have OA or runing both as CO at e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\PC user name\Documents\ArmA 2\ArmA2.cfg open the .cfg file with Notepad and find the line in the .cfg file/s postFX=1; OR postFX=2; OR postFX=3; and change it to postFX=0; save the .cfg file (make sure "read only" is off in its propertys) run the game and postprocessing should be off it may be the files in C:\Documents and Settings\PC user name\ are geting set as read only Edited August 8, 2010 by b101_uk

bigsam656 10 Posted August 8, 2010 Make sure that your 3D resolution is equal or higher to your screen resolution as it will create a blurry effect if too low.
xXxDivinexXx 10 Posted August 9, 2010 (edited) I tried to edit those files their are already set to 0. postFX. xXxDivinexXx 10 Posted August 9, 2010 Provide some pictures, it's hard to fix a problem aside from "it's blurry". Screenshots? How would that help? If i were to take a screenshot of the blur it would just be a picture of a blurry game. No point in taking a screen shot LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No point in taking a screen shot LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! All you've given us is "screen is blurry" and nothing else. We don't know if the monitor is doing it, if it's ghosting from graphics card, if 3d resolution isn't up ectect. But until they're posted I'm going to presume he's trolling us. walker 0 Posted August 10, 2010 (edited) Hi xXxDivinexXx As Windexglow said check in Options Video settings, Advanced, that your 3D Resolution and Interface resolution are the same. Because you are unable to be specific about what the blur is, not suprising there are a bunch of possible causes and types because ArmA is very configurable and PC's are so varied, we will just go through each possible cause until your problem is fixed. :) We have already sorted out part of the problem a common problem some people like the post process effects some don't. Some people use them only for Machinema making, others for parts of the game that do not require much movement. There are lots of things like this in ArmA some people like headbob others do not, some people like a lot of floating zone some people dont, some like fine mouse precision others prefer a bit of smothing, some trade jagies for a few Frames Per Second because some are Frames Per Second junkies. Some want long view distances and will trade resolution for it. Some trade resolution and View Distance for a few Frames Per Second because they are still Frames Per Second junkies. Like I say ArmA is very configurable, and over the years you will tweak it with regularity, especialy when patches come out, and perhaps you will learn the times to trade View Distance for Frames Per Second without becoming a Frames Per Second Junky. Definition of a Frames Per Second Junky Some one who turns on FRAPS to watch digits in the corner of the screen going up and down every time they play a game.
