Is it confirmed that its not just me making mistakes, I've been looking on the wiki, that triggers have a limited success rate? u can restart the game several times an have about a 50% success rate, is there another method I can use to trigger events? as I essentially just need to set up a few targets to assassinate, that type thing

Lol I would be honoured! ---------- Post added at 14:11 ---------- Previous post was at 13:37 ---------- I've only just discovered that triggers don't work is there anyway of making markers show or hide on the the trigger of Ofcom not being present, I mean, I have the trigger where it hides shows way points but its 50/50 if the trigger fires, I made it simple as in a Ofcom unit not present in the trigger, so i'm wonder now is it not at this stage poss to make my own scenarios with ALiVE, thx in advanced

I had a strange one last night, we played thru a mission, and 3 of us decided we would check the player persistence we all left, said player saved for all of us, then 2 of us joined and no probs, the third joined few seconds after and he just got duplicated to around 30 of him, anyone no why :D
  5. Thx matey, that's great news, because I got 800 on stratis which is a bit bust, so I can reduce to 400 each side and use that module on each side and it will sort that out, it claimed on the wiki that module wasn't functional I thought

The question, I have opfor and blufor both a battalion of 800, now being persistant etc, are the killing each other to zero? and taking a area is that down to purely clearing out the enemy or is there a wait time Thx Bro!!

Can someone help me, I've registered on the alive war, I have put files into server, and lastnight my guy was saving excellent!, but i'd like to no what modules that say "persistence" I can tick yes on as theres so many, I have obviously got the player persistence module down, but what of the rest? thx in advanced, also do my friends who have the mod installed on there comps need to register aswell for drop in out player persistence? thx :D
  9. Just been talking to my server host, we have a server, but they say its on a shared box, does that mean it wont work, cause they said the 2 perquisite softwares are on it?

I no matey, I could drown myself, been all afternoon trying, to discover that I had .sqf not .ext..... now I can confirm this is the most amazing mod ever, but a question tho, I got a server, I enabled persistence on it, I added the player persistence module and I logged in on server & I saved and exited, I loaded the map again and I was back! the way I was facing down the correct ammo etc, so is this all working? will it work for my mates aswell aslong as i'm first to log out maybe? only thing was the inventory when I press "I" on keyboard would flicker and be inaccessible

  14. really hoping u no this one, I just got a server for arma, one map on altis which basically just has a chopper works an loads fine on local MP and server loaded MP, the other mission which is my main one wont show up in server, it doesnt get to player select screen, again its does if i host it as internet MP on my pc but loaded to server it doesnt, do u no why?
