By Hawaiian & Siege-A Aloha, this addon is a rendition of the U.S. Army's 75th Ranger Regiment, with the close help of user Siege-A. I am aiming to get an "overall" look than to have a "quality" look implemented into this addon, If you need to know why, it's because I play on an iMac and when I purchased it I didn't have plans to play video games on it. Including in the addon are Infantry and Inf. groups (*no vehicles) implemented as a faction to use in Arma III. Sorry i missed your first post, but I was planning to release texture templates for my uniforms,shoes,gloves, (just wasn't in a rush yet) when CJ and I get finished with releasing a few things. Not sure what else people want to re-texture (i'm open to opinions) but it's all about the matter of "when" I get the time lol.

I wrote him and gave him a little summary of what could've been done for the mod but he never wrote back agreeing to those terms so I didn't waste my time sending anything over. There should be a little update to the mod sometime soon, not by me though..........

Aloha, what a stressful day, so I usually use pbo manager to pack my addon with and today I packed it to get it tested by other members, but a bunch of folders that's in the addon has gone missing, like the program doesn't pack it with everything else in the addon folder, vital things like the rvmat, data folder even the textures folder!? But when I'm in-game I can see the textures never noticed the rvmat's, if they even work. Does anyone get these types of errors? I have to mention that when I use pbo manager everything worked perfectly, no errors at all, until I upgraded to Windows 10 just literally a few days ago, I did not use it this time around because I found out that it does not "binarize" the assets in the addon ,it used to before I upgraded to Win 10, that's why I went to use the Arma 3 tools, which just gives the addon a TON of errors. Does anyone use this tool still? is it broken? am i not setting it up right? can someone educate me, plz..... ~hawaiian

I always accepted it as an Art form but always afraid to get lost in it, so maybe it is an addiction!? That's why I had to take a break, getting too damn lost in modding which is very fun and both stressing and stress relieving...but the end product is the frosting on the cake! But yeah I'll get back into it when I do, I have so much great assets and idea's from other authors and can't wait when I decide to get back at it again. I know my last updated addon needed a texture fixed, I actually had it uploaded ever since it was addressed but seeing no one is nagging for the update I didn't feel obligated to upload it.

I pm'd you my e-mail, cause I'm interested on your proposal, I took my e-mail down because people were spamming me with all kinds of non-sense. I actually don't mind people modifying my scripts as long as they share the work so that others can also benefit from it, so if you modify anything in the scripts/cfg just post it here so others may use it too. I'm also aware the addon needs an update due to missing textures for one of the vests, right now no one seems to care so I'm just ignoring it for now.

exactly, they aren't being assigned any Camelbaks, I haven't added them to any unit's, they were released as a request for player use. I will implement them at some point though, down the road that is.....

honestly now that I think about it, this radio wasn't even supposed to make it in the last update, it totally got past me as I was just poking about and modifying it to the vest, I never intended to release it yet, I haven't even credited the author(s) until a few minutes ago to nkey & the TFAR team, apologies there, usually when I get something in-game I credit immediately, specially if I released it. As for updating the addon, I guess I can, even tho it's just this one error, kinda sad tho.....

I just checked the p3d and I have the wrong name in the texture path, how in the world did I even get this past me I have no clue, I'll fix it tho.....

Good to know, I'm aware that the weapons I am using aren't supported anymore also (I wasn't aware until after the release lol), I haven't given much thought into weapons when I first made the addon obviously lol, I am satisfied on how EricJ's weapons feel and they also have his "safety" feature, can't go wrong there, I did however mess up on most of the textures and sounds, have no idea what I was doing haha....anyway

Thanks dire and Emmit, appreciate you helping out. Have you checked out the very 1st post of this thread? It has most of the issues old and new announced there, but have you (again lol) updated CBA? And like ineptaphid mentioned could very be the load order of your mods. Yeah I know what you mean, and I'm sorry for that, I barely play the game and I had no idea those weapons were also featured in that M4/M16 pack, I've also seen that the SR25 is in RHS's US mod also. All I have to say you'll just have to wait til' I get an updated version going, so much to do rite now, weapons are the last thing on my mind.
