    The trouble is after shooting the first 100 monsters the game becomes incredibly monotonous and frustrating

  5. I notice when placing a CSAT infantry assault group Down without waypoints that they reshuffle their positions, other groups appear fine but didn't check all.

    I subscribed but it appears in my scenarios list and not available in Multiplayer, I unsubscribe and download into my MP folder and it still doesn't appear? I'm guessing maybe my games corrupted or maybe it's because I'm on dev branch or something? Will try again tomorrow but if anyone has any ideas as to why that would help.

    Can't wait for the Farcry 3 mod, gonna finish that game one day maybe. Also I have a feeling BI will come up with something special given the setbacks they had with A3, we've only seen a few images and a fly over of one(?) island so it's a bit hard to start knocking it now... I was skeptical about a Jungle and A multiple island type terrain but then I guess BI would know and understand those concerns more than anyone so I'm confident they have all the bases covered.

Great tool thanks, any tips on selecting unselected objects? sometimes it feels hard to 'grab' an actual object and generally i click and drag combo until the blue lines appear! also camera positioning feels archaic can we expect a more natural option ala Zeus, *waa waa mode off* thanks again :D that saved me about half n hours farting around with save exit / preview a million times!

    Yeah, thats one thing GTA have got down is the ambiance, would love to see something similar available in arma... especially for vehicles!

    Whoa! that sounds awesome man, so what addons were used to enable that, Im imagining M.S.K.E for terrain, would be great to see that in action. As I've tried and mostly failed miserably, anyway the point is I would hope BI would provide the solution without relying on mods or scripting.

    I'm not talking about interaction, I was meaning their actual behavior.. Far than convincing for me at least. Battlebus? I thought that was some bus with stadium seats on it or something? And a crazy amount of weaponry, I remember seeing some video with guys on it cackling away.

    You 2 need your own "A3 Expansion naval wish list" :) If it's a few islands together then I would hope they are going to provide some option for AI to be able to move between them independently somehow/anyhow, other wise they will be rendered useless in a way for mission making with AI concerned? As for naval units any type of landing craft that can manage infantry and armour would be enough at least in terms of making scenarios, and if the AI again were able to use them.. But can't see much hope at this stage, they have trouble getting out of assault boats and near impossible to get them to board a boat on one coast and disembark on another.

    It shouldn't be done half assed though, Arma 2 and OA civs just weren't convincing enough for me even in game standards, the best part was the vehicle variety, seeing vehicles driving around helped in the immersion but in general their behavior was lacking a few routines, It will be great if BI could ever come up with a system to populate their terrains with civilians in a believable and more meaningful way.

Am I the only one who sees a small jump when killing any units, like they get yanked with a string before the rag doll kicks in, happens even when they are prone, I think it even happens to rabbits who currently are breeding like.. Anyway there seems to be a lot more of them around, everywhere I look infact.

    Altis and Stratis are far more believable places than Los Santos imho, in Los Santos all buildings have no interiors except for the obvious gameplay assets, even AmmuNation is copied and pasted, remember the shit BI got for that! (mostly) All buildings are enterable in OA and Altis and Stratis, that's what 'everyone' wished for from Arma 2, we just can't have everything yet.

    Haha I wonder if BI manage their content in-house, I'm guessing it's intentional otherwise you wouldn't risk putting it online in any status.
